Which cell phone carrier gets the best service in Oxford? Both on campus and off. My daughter will be a Freshman in August and we didn’t have the best Verizon service when we were there for Orientation last week.
Does anyone have any good study tips for physics 214, i’m about to take this class this summer and I want to be prepared.
I have a buddy coming to the LSU game and I wanr to get him in the student section how would I go about doing this? I heard through a friend of mine that she wasn’t able to get her friend in at the student gate but i’m wondering what they did wrong. Let me know!
Tupelo Farmers Market at The Depot is a seasonal Saturday tradition in Downtown Tupelo. The official market source should be checked for vendor updates and weather-related changes
Just curious how this generation of OM college guys feel about this? I know 20 years ago, that would have been an easy “no.” But there has to be at least some progress since then… right?
Hi guys. I will be joining the uni this fall for my PhD. I’m very quiet and will be busy studying, I love cooking so I’ll be cooking whenever possible. I’m looking forward to connecting with people who are looking for roommates. I’m trying to find budget apartment. I’ve heard about links and greens, but are they tough to get in ?
I’d love to connect with anyone in the same boat.
Anyone know of any on campus jobs that don't make you work weekends? I have an off campus job at a restaurant, so I have to have full availability for that job Saturday and Sunday. But I'd like a second job this fall.
Hey everyone! I’m currently a sophomore at Northwest Mississippi Community College planning to transfer to Ole Miss Oxford campus in Spring 2027. I have a few scholarship questions I can’t find clear answers to online and hoping someone here can help!
About me:
• Mississippi resident ✅
• Transferring directly from NWCC ✅
• Projected GPA by December 2026: \~3.23 (straight A’s summer and fall)
• Will have 61 transferable credit hours ✅
• SAI: $14,814 (just over Pell cutoff 😭)
• Majoring in Communication Sciences and Disorders
My questions:
1. Community College Leadership Scholarship — Is this available for students attending the MAIN Oxford campus? I’ve seen conflicting info and want to confirm before I get my hopes up. It says $6,000 for CC transfers with 3.0+ GPA and leadership/service but doesn’t specify campus because I saw it on the regional site (don’t cook me if I’m wrong😭)
2. GPA ceiling — With a projected \~3.23 GPA by December 2026, am I competitive for the Luckyday and Lyceum scholarships or is that too low? Also, will I be able to be eligible for them if I come Jan 2027?
3. Luckyday eligibility — My SAI is $14,814 which is just $24 over the Pell cutoff. Does Luckyday’s “remaining financial need” requirement automatically disqualify me or is there wiggle room?
4. Lyceum Scholars Award — How competitive is this realistically? What else should I be applying for?
Any advice from current Ole Miss students, transfers, or financial aid experience would be hugely appreciated! 🙏
