Concerns have been raised that female users are now being hidden behind a PAY WALL on Omegleweb... I have noticed a SIGNIFICANT decline in female users on the site recently.. I too, can only hope that this is NOT the case and Omegleweb and the developer continue to grow this site in its current format into the standout site that it has been.

Trying to duplicate another site, like Thundr is a HUGE mistake. Thundrs' developer has taken what could have, and should have been the best of theses sites in its early days and transformed Thundr into a complete and utter mess that has, as mentioned above failed miserably.

I fear that, together with the unpopular introduction of the Score rating system, and obvious lack of female users available on the platform now, the seemingly glitchy payment subscription platform that is heavily criticised, that the developer is taking Omeglweb down a VERY familiar path of not listening to the user base.

I understand that on these sites users are NOT always the best resource for changes and implementations for sites like this, however, when the user base CONTINUALLY raises concerns regarding changes, and or the introduction of features that they do not like, surely that will lead to alienating a user base as has been the case with Thundr.

Thundrs' Reddit and Discord platforms are full of complaints form regular dedicated users that eventually move on.. in this case a lot have gravitated to Omegleweb

PLEASE do not let Omegleweb fall into the same trap and follow down the same path.

Keep it simple, give the users what the are looking for and continue to stand out amongst the rest and create something different, not more of the same...

This is actually a real question for the mods or people running the site, I swear I'm not trolling.

I'm a female user and have been surfing the site since it was like 400 people.. and now its alot more.

Friends and I have been on the site using phones and laptops at the same time.. and we are connecting with less and less female users. We dont even see ourselves! I mean are they all being blocked behind a paywall now since you have to pay to see a gender you want?

Imma totally not being nasty, this is just a genuine question. It took me an hour to find a girl last night and when we connected she said the same thing. There are like no females on the free side anymore. Its like thundr.

Can anyone explain?

I was on ometv to have some chats and I (f18) ended up with a 37 year old Indian man who has had a girlfriend in the past who was 18. He ended up telling me he had been recording me, which I have no problem with, however there were multiple parts of the conversation which made me uncomfortable:
-Did not like that I didn’t want to share personal info like my plans for future prospects and school work, so told me that his audience would end up finding me and all my personal info anyway.
-Accused me of lying when I said I hadn’t dated anyone.
-Tried to manipulate me into a debate about incels and people like Elliot Rodger.
I am admittedly a very stubborn person so refused to skip (looking back he was probs right when he called me stupid lol) but eventually ended when he tried to get me into a conversation about my sex life.
I feel quite intimidated and oddly embarrassed!

Every time you turn on your camera, the site silently captures a frame and uploads it to their servers. In a 1-hour session that's 120 photos of your face. Stored. With all your IP's, device information, location etc. Reviewed by humans and AI.

It *is* mentioned in their privacy policy. One sentence. Buried. Not something you'd ever notice unless you went looking for it. No warning when you turn on your camera. No pop-up. Nothing.

Just thought people here should know what's running in the background every time they use this site, a pop-up saying that should be more visible.

OmegleWeb is a scam. No one is responding, and the Prime subscription is clearly fraudulent. I’m almost sure the money will be taken from my card tonight even though I pressed cancel many times. No one replies or helps, unfortunately.
The card isn’t even mine — it’s my mother’s. I thought no money would be charged, but sadly it looks like it will be. I’ll have to wait for the charge, then tell her it was a scam and ask her to cancel the card.
If anyone from the website has any conscience, please cancel my subscription or contact me via DM.
