OnePlus 15
I'm loving the OnePlus 15 camera ..though I have not played with it as much as I would have on my still king of the world OnePlus 9 pro. The absence of hasselblad is not as evident as I thought...till it comes to night
Do your Google wallet learns your routine?
Anyone using Google wallet in OnePlus 15 to pay for public transport?
I had the device for about 2 months and I noticed that it kicked off the Google wallet in the background after I was done with it for public transport.
That means. When going to work and back home, I have to scan into the metro and then scan out upon my destination.
I noticed the phone kicked out the Google pay after the second scan. Which is a good thing for me
Anyone has that too?
Need insightful opinions on the purchase of used OnePlus phones
Hello all! Long post ahead. I need some opinions and different outlooks to affirm my decisions and get a different perspective. ( I am based in India btw)
I currently use the OG OnePlus Nord, been about 5-6 years. I am considering an upgrade. I am interested in getting another OnePlus device, mainly the 12, 13, 13s, and 15. This purchase would mainly be from the used market, as I feel I'll get it comparatively cheaper, and it will still last as long for me. Please do take note of the prices I'm considering.
OnePlus 12: Wanted to get this as it's supposed to be the best OnePlus, with the camera and all. However, as I researched further, I realised it wouldn't be as future-proof and would have considerably older battery tech. Also, a lot of reports of the motherboard issues, particularly for this model, made me think otherwise. Thinking of spending less than 35k INR or 365.39 USD for the 512 GB.
OnePlus 13: The same phone with more future-proofing. I think I can get used to the technical downgrade, as I am coming from a 5-year-old phone. The device is great, will work well for 3+ years. In comparison to the current market, though, the battery is less (and with the new data, that OnePlus 13 has actually a 5400 mah battery instead of 6000 mah, which was a punch in the gut).
I feel I'll get a good flagship experience with this phone. Also, despite its big size, this phone feels comfortable to hold ( without case, haven't checked with a case). Considering paying 40 to 45k for 512 GB and 50 to 60k INR or 522 to 627 USD for the 1 TB version.
OnePlus 13S: A phone I initially loved during the launch. I love the size. However, it is technically a downgrade in certain areas. As I said, for me, any phone will be an upgrade, but I would prefer a well-rounded device. I am considering this phone because of its size. Willing to pay up to 45k INR or 470.11 USD for the 512 GB version.
OnePlus 15: The latest tech. This phone would be the best for future-proofing and getting the best tech and battery. The camera, even if people say it is a downgrade, I feel it would be good enough for me. (Although the 13 or 12 might be better in low light). However, even though this phone is the same size as the 13, it feels much bigger in hand, and feels a bit uncomfortable ( without a case). The comfort isn't a major factor for me, but the 13, 13s, and the 15 are the phones I've held, and I noticed that in my first impression. Willing to pay 60 to 65k INR or $626 to $681 USD for the 512 GB.
Current OnePlus Nord: Regardless of buying a new phone, I do plan on going to a local shop and getting the device repaired a bit. I will change the battery, the stuck power button and other small issues for about less than 3-4k INR or less than 40 USD. Planning to use the Infinity X custom ROM, thus giving my device Android 16 and better performance. I can also try using banking apps.
This phone might be my secondary, mainly as a navigation device and for other stuff. I can also see myself using this phone for another 2 more years as my primary device, and maybe look at purchasing a new phone later on.
The main reason for getting a OnePlus and a new phone is because of the fact that OnePlus is shifting identities and may eventually shut down in India, and I have always wanted a OnePlus flagship. And the ongoing price hikes and all made me realise I should buy a new phone, thus futureproofing and being steady for the next 5 years. Getting from the second-hand market would help reduce the prices considerably. I also need storage, as my current phone is filled up (128 GB/ I know I can back up and free up space, so that's there).
Now, I need your actual opinions, and please, not one-line answers. Looking for people who have also researched the same, and those users who have used these devices. Also, don't be biased towards any particular phone.
Q: Is my outlook reasonable? Do you have any other devices you'd say might be a better choice in this market (second-hand market too)? Also, are the prices for the second-hand phones correct and reasonable? Let me know your perspectives and help a buddy out!
Fingerprint is NOT SAFE at all
I had registered my fingerprint in one plus 13, it unlocked very fast i was always curious if it actually checked my finger , i had recently added glass screen protector to my phone and i was in class my classmate opened my phone 5 times out of the 10 times he tried , it was very embarrassing, some boys said this phone isn't even worth 100$
Anyone can open it not security at all
Oneplus has still not fixed blurry photos camera bug
Got a new Poco x8 pro max and shot a random chair and compared the same with the photo clicked with oneplus 15r.
Not sure if reddit will allow to upload high res photos but Poco captured much better details even with a smaller sensor, whereas oneplus clicked blurry photo(in patches) as it always does.
Shame on oneplus/oppo for ignoring bugs, just smoothness & animation is not everything you need to iron out bugs too.Same camera issue is still there on Realme gt6 also which uses the same codebase. Just for information poco is as fast and smooth as oneplus, really surprised with poco as a package.
Is this normal?
Just got my OnePlus 15 yesterday, and I have no idea if this is normal, I updated it to the latest software update 16.0.9.400
And I'd love any recommendations about the battery or anything else that could make my experience with the phone better.
Got a screen replacement from OnePlus official, and no fingerprint doesn't register
Has anyone experienced this, brand new screen yet I can't the fingerprint scanner.

One plus 11 Green line and battery health
Does the OnePlus 11 have a recurring Green Line issue? I have already replaced the display once because of the Green Line problem, and the battery health of my phone is now below 80%.
I am confused about whether I should replace the battery and continue using the same phone, or e x change/s e ll the OnePlus 11 because of the reduced battery health and the possibility of the Green Line issue recurring.
Brand new one plus 15 ....
Just ordered a new one plus 15. I have had a 7t for the past 6+ years and it's been the best phone ever, but wanted to upgrade to a 5g phone.
Not tech savvy, wondering what the best way to set up the new phone, transfer apps (can you pick & choose ones you want to move?), etc.
Have no idea what dual sim or e sim is? Do i need to get virus protection?
I saw a post recently about a new OP 15 owner needing to switch the OS to something else dur to OP not being in States anytime. Does that mean i will need to do that as well?
Any info or suggestions on set up would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
Charging failed due to dirty charging contacts on your watch
Hello guys,
My watch has been working perfectly from last few months until today when i started seeing this error message in the morning. I found my watch completely shut off in the morning (never happened before as i charged it fully the day before yesterday).
When i switched it on, it had no battery, so i put it on charge, it got charged till 17 percent and then this error showed after that. I have cleaned my charging contacts 2-3 times and it makes no difference. I tried restarting, unpairing and resetting the watch, still no difference. I have also tried different adapters and charging pads, wall sockets, no difference.
Is this related to the recent july software update? It can't be a coincidence that this happened at the same time the update came, it's possible that my watch switched off because its battery went down from automatic software update.
I cant update it now because the update needs the watch to be atleast 50% charged and this bug is making it stuck on 17%
Anybody else facing this? What can i do here guys, any suggestions are welcome
Half of the screen becomes darker in some apps/games

I'm experiencing a strange display issue on my OnePlus 15.
In some apps, especially games, half of the screen suddenly becomes noticeably darker than the other half, as you can see in the attached screenshot.
The phone works completely normally during regular use, and the issue doesn't happen all the time. It seems to happen mainly with certain apps/games.
Has anyone else experienced something similar on the OnePlus 15? Could this be a software/GPU rendering issue, or possibly a display problem?
Any ideas or solutions would be appreciated.
From S23U to Oneplus 15 - honeymoon period over
Hi all,
I thought I'd do a quick update as I've had the phone now for a month. First of all I'm glad to report that I'm still extremely happy with the phone, I'm glad I decided to go for the OnePlus as opposed to the S26U or wait for the S27U.
I'm still very impressed with everything, although some things have been a bit odd after the honeymoon phase. No deal breakers at all, just observations but worth mentioning for those considering making the switch.
- The battery is amazing. Using it in the exact same way as I used my S23U, I still end my day with about 85% battery left where as on my S23U I'd end with 55-60%. The battery takes quite some time to go from 100% to 99% but sometimes it drains quicker from 99% to 90..sometimes it hovers around 88%. Its not consistent. However, its still amazing nonetheless. (also bear in mind I have 2 active sims on all the time, with one of them roaming 24/7). Seriously, coming from a Samsung this phone is on a completely different planet when it comes to the battery!
- The phone gets hot relatively easy. Bear in mind I'm in southern Europe so its very hot right now, carrying the phone in my pocket will heat it up just from external heat. But using it for a while, even if its just Facebook will warm the phone. Something I've never experienced with the S23U. I have read though that other phones with the same chipset experience the same (even the brand new Samsung foldables that just came out). Again, not Hot, just warm.
- I drove around 5 hours using Android Auto. Everything was smooth, however I noticed that if I went through areas where my main sim (not roaming) would lose network for a few minutes, the phone would go into the sim pin screen. Like it would not naturally recover and reconnect to the network once the network was found. This was annoying as it was happening on my main sim (not roaming) which I use for data, so I'd constantly lose data connection. I think I solved this by removing the need for a pin on my sim. But this is not ideal since I've always liked having the layer of security. And yes, the network selection of the sim was set to automatic not manual so it should just reconnect by its own.
- Bluetooth works fine, I have my phone connected to my Galaxy watch, all working fine even my Buds work fine, no complaints here.
- Spotify issue, I noticed yesterday when I connected my phone to my speaker (via wifi spotify connection not bluetooth), everything plays and sounds great. However, if I press a song from my playlist, no matter which one, it jumps back to the first song in the list. However, if I press the next or previous button, it jumps to the song fine. This is so weird, it happened on 2 different speakers that I tried. So it's either a phone specific issue or a new spotify bug. Not sure which but it never happened with my S23U.
Other than the above, there's nothing else 'negative' to report. I mean none of the above is a deal breaker at all, more like nit picking but worth mentioning. My main gripe is the sim/pin stuff. But that's not major either. I absolutely love the phone though.
But if I am to be 100% honest, if the S28U or the next generation of the Samsung Wide fold comes with a proper big silicone battery, I will consider going back, purely because Samsung OneUI does feel a little more premium. However, as of right now, the battery and price of the OnePlus completely outweigh any small 'issues' this phone may have compared to OneUI.
So yeah, I'm super happy with the phone and I'm definitely keeping for at least the next 2 - 3 years!
GOOD NEWS I FIXED MY ONE PLUS 15
This is the old frame the new one works perfectly:))
How can I completely disable Google Discover on the left swipe on OnePlus 15?
I have a OnePlus 15 running OxygenOS 16.0.7.
When I swipe all the way to the left on the home screen, I get the Google Discover/news feed. I want to completely remove this page so that swiping left does nothing.
The problem is that if I disable the Google app, the Discover page disappears, but then Google Play and Gemini require the Google app to be enabled again. Once I enable it, Google Discover comes back.
I don’t want to disable the Google app because I still want to use:
● Google Play Store
● Gemini
● Google Assistant
● Circle to Search
● Google Lens
I just want to remove the leftmost Google Discover page while keeping the Google app fully functional.
Is there an ADB command, launcher setting, or another permanent method to disable/remove Google Discover on the OnePlus 15 without disabling the Google app?
Ideally, I want the left swipe to simply do nothing.
I’ve seen some posts mentioning commands such as assistant_screen_type and assistant_screen_type_left_enable, but I’m not sure which commands actually work on the OnePlus 15 / OxygenOS 16.
Any working solution would be appreciated.
OnePlus is leaving, so I bought one more 1+15. :)
Daily driving Sandstorm since December, found black one on marketplace for 380e. So I went and bought it. 😄 Both are CN versions with flashed Oxygen OS on top. This post is reply to all "should I buy it since...blah blah".
Happy Sunday to you all.
