Look what I wasted like 45+ hours and 3000+ Python commands not actually finishing

Have to take a break from this hair-pulling nightmare of an obsession... But when I think of all those dudes who made those beautiful worlds on NEDesigns but had to use friggin junior rollercoaster rails to make it look like there are track switches I feel like getting these effing ties right will be worth it...

As mentioned in my previous post I'm going to have to package the code for some actual contrib to review and enter as I won't be able to do a PR myself. Give me a few more days on that.

𝐊𝐎𝐁𝐑𝐄𝐀 | Mack Rides Stryker Coaster | Ride overview

Is this Europe's next elite coaster?

Hi and welcome back! Similar to my last design (Amarelo) Spain isn't the themepark country you might think it is. It has a few good parks, but most of them are near Madrid and Barcelona. There's a severe lack of rollercoasters in Northern Spain and that's where this design is located, specifically in the Basque region of Spain near Bilbao. Kobrea means copper in Basque, which is the regional dialect/language the people speak there.

This Stryker coaster is obviously inspired by Europa Park's Voltron, but I think that's okay. Its first element is extremely good and I wanted to recreate it the best I could. There wasn't a way to make the launch go beyond vertical, but this is close enough. After that first element the inversion come at you at a rapid pace, just like with any other Stryker or Big Dipper coaster. It's a model that's intense, inversion heavy and airtime focused.

I had a very fun week building and designing this one. As always I took care of the scenery around it as well and I really took the time to create a realistic queueing system. We've got FOUR separate entrances: regular queue, single rider, fast lane and disability. All queues (except the disability lane) go through their own double sided locker area. When exiting the ride you just go back to your locker and find one of two exits where you will also come across a photo booth.

Lastly we have a large shop/restaurant with a small patio. At the back of this building I've also built a small break area for my hard working staff. Gotta think about them as well!

As you can see I've really put a lot of effort into this one and I hope you can see that in the end result. Enjoy a ride on Kobrea!

Playing on MacBook?

Hello! Sorry, I’m sure this has been asked many times before, but so far I can’t find anything using search.

I’m dying to get back to playing. I prefer RTC3 just because I like sandbox for creating new coasters, huge parks with from scratch scenery.

But 1 or 2 are obviously great too.

Any ideas or links on how to play on a MacBook?

Thank you!!!

Question; where do you go for custom content?

I know that sounds dumb but googling custom content for rtc2 or open rtc2 doesn't take me very far.

Mostly want alot of new scenery and rides.

𝘼𝙢𝙖𝙧𝙚𝙡𝙤 | Gravity Group Wooden Coaster | ride overview

Bem-vindo à primeira montanha russa de madeira em Portugal!

Not many people realize this, but Portugal severely lacks any amusements parks and therefore doesn't have a lot of rollercoasters. What if there would open up a new park there and with it the first wooden rollercoaster in all of Portugal! Since the owner of this new park probably doesn't have a lot of money to spend they decided to let the Gravity Group build a small sized woodie for them. One requirement though: It had to feature an inversion! The name Amarelo (yellow in Portuguese) comes from the fact that the coaster has been built with Yellow Pine hardwood from Brazil.

Enjoy the ride! Obrigado!

Just now discovering Cut-away View

Mesmerized by this bottom-up look at parks, and I will for sure be putting this tool to use to zone in on hard-to-see areas. My love & appreciation for OpenRCT2 may never stop growing!
