An unusual occurence, I have to tell someone. Maybe you will understand...

I found the top CRT at a secondhand shop a couple of years ago, was a TV like the bottom one. So I made it into an x-y scope for music. But it is a bit old, the brightness has gone (and I daren't poke too much near the HV). I rehoused it, but left it open at the back.

I just saw a rat going into it. They aren't uncommon here, rural Tuscany. But to move in there? Has nibbled through most of the wires so good job I didn't plug it in.
