Meh, it'll do
Today in the Midwest part of the states it's rainy and dreary so I planned my outfit around my boots. I quickly discovered that I don't have a lot of options for this temperature... I have hot weather stuff and cold weather stuff but not so much of the in between stuff. So I threw this together. Just a basic skirt, tank top, tied button down and a headband. Not even worth posting honestly.
Except .....
My hair. Do you see what I have to deal with? It looks like a tiny man should be surfing across it.
This is every day for me. Usually I pin it down but this bit escaped. If I actually took time to style my hair then I could make these finger waves work FOR me, not against me. But I never do. Cause I'm lazy...
Anyway...
Does anyone else struggle on the in between weather days? Any tips and tricks to make your clothes work in different seasons?
My button says "support your local coven", I'm wearing black and gold earrings and an ear crawler. Gray/green reading glasses today. πππππ
Enjoying a casual (but hot) workday
Orange dress and navy blue linen shirt
Tennis dress styling options
Been in love with tennis dresses this year. Getting to wear my vans with a dress is always a plus, but I also like wearing dressier shoes too. Which look do yβall prefer? Dressed up, or more casual?
Technically a black and white suit but it's actually grey
Puppytooth wool suit with wide peak lapels from Cavour, light blue shirt from Charles Tyrwhitt , navy Fleur-de-lys silk tie from Charles Tyrwhitt, and black penny loafers from Henry Stevens.
Is neon coral a color?
I found this shirt last week at a thrift store. It's hard to tell from the pic but the only way to describe the color is "neon coral". Its amazing. π
You all remember Pugsley? He's in his usual spot. We had Wednesday last time but this time Pumpkinhead wanted to be nosy. He's a standard 20 pound dumb-as-hell-but-so-sweet orange. π§‘
Back to the neon coral cactus and cows....I paired it with this black skirt.... Turns out it's hard finding a color that looks good with neon coral. Brown was the best option trust me! Brown flats, brown and gold chain necklace, gold initial pin, brown leather hoop earrings, gold earrings, brown headband. Brown readers. πππ

My favorite shoes!
My favorite colors to wear are pink and purple, and these shoes were a dream find! ππ©·
As you can see both Wednesday and Pugsley wanted in on today's photos.

Casual Friday?
English accent "shhh boys and girls..what we have here is a rare sighting of macabremom1 NOT wearing a skirt or dress. Note her relaxed stance in comfortable canvas shoes, her two cat pins, her two pair of earrings - one a skull and one a half black/half gold hoop. A bandana in her hair is actually signalling to the others that she is having a lazy day. The deep green shirt is really her best feature.... Oh no boys and girls .... She tied her tshirt again! This is known to cause an upset in the community...."
Black canvas shoes, black Capri leggings, awesome green cat shirt, black and gold earrings, two cat pins, bandana in green, green reading glasses.
I canβt decide, which is better for metal fest? All black or gold and black? Iβm leaning towards gold and black but Iβm not sure π
