Aether S2S

I was tasking and when i stopped the timer and returned to dashboard, ait was suddenly empty and aether was gone and it is showing unavailable in front of the aether in projects history ? Is this normal (I'm a newbie)

Also yesterday I tasked at 7.5usd/h but today it was 5.55usd/h

Are these things normal?

First Project - Mandatory Webinar?

I'm new to the site and have my first project, Openclaw Atlas. However, I can't start it because I apparently have a mandatory webinar to attend. However, I don't see any webinars or upcoming webinars available.

Should I just wait? Did I miss something in onboarding? It has been a few days now and I have started to get 'friendly reminders'. I hope to not lose the project but I also can't find a way to start it. Has anyone seen this or know of anything similar or can otherwise help?

What is happening?

Just sharing a general concern about communication. It can be really discouraging when account issues happen without much explanation. I hope the review process becomes a bit more transparent so contributors have a better understanding of what's going on.

Woke up to find my account gone this morning, which was honestly disappointing.

I've always tried to do my best work, so it was unexpected. Just wondering how long reviews usually take and whether anyone has had success getting things resolved.

Account Banned for Copying Text To Notepad

Hey guys,

Is this a common experience? I went through the process of onboarding for Aether: I spent longer than the supposed 48 minutes going through it all (think it was longer than an hour due to the different types of exercises). At one point, I copied some text I'd written into one of the textboxes so I could refer back to it for my other answers. At one point, I may have accidentally pasted some empty text, for which it came up with an error. Fair enough, right?

Then, when I finished, the Projects and Skills panels disappeared and I was left with the Payout/Payments box. Fair enough, I thought, it said it would take some time to review my answers.

Nothing for a day, so I hop on and talk to the help chatbot. My account has been banned for suspicious activity. I apparently had activity consisted with using A.I. or an auto-typer (whatever that is) and this has been manually reviewed and my account has been permanently suspended.

I mean, I get it: They want to pay people for actually doing the work. But I legitimately went through every step of the onboarding process, took my time, took longer than I feel I should have to be thorough and then...this bullcrap.

Is there anything I can do about this? I'm a programmer with 20 years in the field. I use A.I. as a learning tool but not to code, and at this point I wouldn't even know how to use it to analyse video/audio and images. TBH, I don't think it would do a very good job at it, anyway (unless you're willing to use a tonne of tokens).

Any help here?

Request for Final Manual Review of My Account

Dear Outlier Support Team,

Thank you for your response.

I respectfully request one final manual review of my account. I believe my account may have been flagged in error, as I did not knowingly violate the Community Guidelines or Terms of Use. Throughout my time on Outlier, I made every effort to follow the platform's policies. I have never intentionally engaged in activities that would compromise platform integrity, including using multiple accounts, sharing accounts, submitting fraudulent work, or otherwise violating the rules. I understand that you cannot disclose the specific signals used in your review. However, if there has been a misunderstanding or a false positive, I kindly ask that my account be reviewed once more by a senior reviewer.

I am fully willing to complete any additional identity verification or provide any information needed to demonstrate that I have complied with your policies. If, after this review, you still determine that my account cannot be reinstated, I would appreciate any general guidance about the type of policy concern that led to this decision so I can avoid similar issues in the future.

Thank you for your time and consideration. I sincerely hope you will reconsider my case. Kind regards, Rahul Sager.

Aether Project

Hey guys, I took the assessment for the Aether project, the assessment was about assessing the voice responses of two models, and in the assessment they said the project's name was project North Star? when I finished the assessment I found myself forwarded to a webpage named "Timesheet for Aether" and when I clicked on start tasking it sent me to a different platform, with totally different tasks from the assessment I was taking, and the timer was working while I attempted to take an assessment for these new tasks on the new platform. Can anyone explain to me what's this? This is my first project on Outlier and I don't understand what should I do now.
Note: After taking the assessment of a task on the new platform all the tasks were replaced with totally different tasks again.

Thank you if you've read this far!

“Cannot spoof tasker”??

When I try to login I get an error that says “cannot spoof tasker”. I don’t know why this is happening. I’ve had my account for over 3 years. The last time I tasked was about a month ago. I don’t use vpns or extensions.

My Outlier account was permanently deactivated after completing the Aether S2S assessment

I’ve had my Outlier account for almost 2 years and never had any issues or policy warnings.

A few days ago, I received an official email inviting me to complete the Aether S2S assessment. I completed the assessment, but when I clicked Submit, the page got stuck loading and never finished.

The next day, I tried logging into Outlier and found that my account had been permanently deactivated.

I contacted Support and Account Access, but they only sent me the same generic response saying I violated the Community Guidelines without explaining what I did wrong. They also refused to review my case again or provide any details.

Is there anything I can do to get my account back?

Voice typing

Hey guys

I have a question about Outlier tasks. Is it allowed to use voice typing like windows+H to write my rationale instead of typing it manually?

Speech-to-text is really faster since the S2S tasks are already eating a lot of time.

Has anyone confirmed whether this is allowed, or has Outlier provided any guidance on it?

Thanks!

Aether

I got an onboarding after a week of working, I did and passed continued working for a day and my dashboard has continue onboarding again..What could be the reason?

reddit.com

Aether S2S ELO AHT

It takes me like 30 minutes to talk to both models(2-3 takes) and listen to the trasncription and then choosing which ones better on what metric and giving a well thought up rationale as I have to think how i am going to incorporate the prompt they are asking me and how can test the skills they want me to test so overall i am submitting 2 or max 3 tasks per hour

I have a score of 3-3.5 for the past week so is my AHT concern because i think if try to reduce my AHT my rationale and prompt quality will go down too

i dont find any sources that suggest what should be the AHT

Did Aether s2s project closed or i'm just kick

I did the work for 2 days with the scoring of 3.88 and now under account review . Did everything according to the guidelines. Check the outlier and the project is gone. Anyone have the same problem?

How do outlier pick their reviewers?

I am just curious about how the reviewers are chosen. I got yanked off based on the review a got and it goes thus

"Thank you for your effort! Unfortunately, this tasks should fail because the target can't depend on user-generated content"

What does that even mean? I believe this is wrong.

Regards.

You guys weren't kidding about Outlier Support (LOL!)

I only set up my account about 4 days ago. Got the Generalist and Law skills. All of a sudden, I tried to log in yesterday and couldn't. I reached out to support and, within a minute, received a generic AI response stating that I violated community guidelines, without mentioning any specific infringement. It's quite funny, seeing as I never even worked on a project.

I responded to the email and almost instantly was told that a manual review had been carried out and the decision is final.... This is honestly just ridiculous.

If anyone can provide some assistance that would be great!
