Best dip pen nib for Palmer Method.

Hi everyone, I just bought my first dip pen, it has a Nikko G nib. It writes very fine lines, particularly using a light touch as endorsed with Palmer.
Is it suitable for using when practicing the drills etc which can put a lot of wear on a pen tip.
What nibs would you recommend for this style of handwriting practice.

Interesting pause

Flawless execution but very interesting pause at the “f”. I tend to struggle with controlling the lower case f all the way, so this was fun to observe: link
