I collect coins and not much paper money. This small text says:
REDEEMABLE IN GOLD ON DEMAND AT THE UNITED STATES TREASURY OR IN GOLD OR LAWFUL MONEY AT ANY FEDERAL RESERVE BANK
Does that make this a gold certificate?
I bought each for 50¢ except for the one labeled for $6 which was 50% off. One Ukrainian, a couple Russian, several Bulgarian (or so I was told), and a couple German.
If you have any information about any of these bills like what they were worth when they were printed, how many were printed, things like that, please feel free to share.
I can’t tell if there is a devils face in there or not can somebody help me out thanks a lot. 😁

EDIfoundT* Hiii I this tombstone note from the bank! It aligns perfectly along with the birth/ death of american composer Stephen Foster! I'd like to keep it in my display case however im here to ask about it because my girlfriend doesn't think its of any value and wants me to spend it as a regular 50, I do not want to just spend it if its actually something cooler than a standard 50. I do think its a really cool serial number! Therefore any help would be appreciated, on where to go ,or who I should talk to about this. THANK VERY MUCH !! Mod: THANK YOU FOR ALLOWING POST!
