Cleared Chapter 4 of TTYD.. but that damn Forest
So i got back into Paper Mario TTYD to clear chapter 4 in one sitting as i usually do with each chapter, now that i have access to my old Wii(my GC’s scanner is going bad), and: that was the single most worst experience i have faced so far.
Just the forest alone was agony to go back and forth through while Creeple Steeple, like the rest of the game, was a cake walk. Literally the only problems i faced was that forest full of enemies that could shave my health with a single attack (and always came in swarms) and those damn flowers that would put me into an almost never ending sleep state. I just barely avoided a gameover cuz they kept sleeping me until i got to 1 hp and THEN i snapped out of it to kick their butts! 😭 what even is this difficulty spike?! worst part of the game by FAR and it makes Doopliss and creeple steeple being absolute jokes all the more insulting.
Normally i’d be xp farming every enemy but this section…this section is the first section where i actually had to run from most encounters cuz it was just not working out in that forest. Then it turned out, the steeple itself was FINE. Barely an inconvenience, but the backtracking through that HELL where every enemy’s log says “RUN”….Please tell me the worst is behind me…
