Haven’t seen my snail all day. Then I see a weird object flying around the top of the tank. Upon closer inspection, it’s my snail flipped upside down floating around. I’ve had this guy for only one day and he’s already slacking on the job (there are bladder snails somewhere in there).

But actually, has anyone seen this before?

This lil mad lad was floating for a solid 30 seconds prior to this video; felt like it was spying on me. It had me wondering if I was still asleep since it was just floating in front of the bubble curtain.

Luckily I rushed over and was able to catch the landing! I had no idea that Ram's Horn snails are so floaty!

The tank is still getting properly seasoned before I get some Ocean Blue/Blue Diamond Neocaridina skrimps.

I just love these guys!

I saw my ramshorn snail do this a few times before but could not capture it. Apparently they can move just below the surface of the water? When I tried to take a video they detached and landed perfectly, too bad I couldn't grab that.

Unrelated question: he’s still new - so am I to owning tanks & fish - should i be concerned about that little spot where the shell looks thin? It was there when I bought him.
