I started building The Local Root after repeatedly running into the same problem: general gardening advice rarely accounts for our altitude, clay soil, intense sun, limited water, and unpredictable weather. I found myself overwhelmed by the contradictory suggestions provided by people, and spending way too much time digging around for actual creditable sources.
This is an early public release, and it will keep improving as people use it. If you have a real yard problem, I’d love for you to try one diagnosis.
