Since being announced at Watches and Wonders, the Parmigiani Chronographe Mysterieux has been listed on their website as "estimated availability: June 2026". June is now over and I've not seen anything officially stating that it's on sale.
There is one listing on Chrono24 using stock pictures and there was one post on the PF subreddit stating a boutique said it was available. But the website still lists an estimated availability and I've not seen anything on any watch site or forum covering its release. Does anyone know what happened and when it will be officially released?
On my way to Portland for a golf trip with some buddies. We’re all watch enthusiasts. The passenger sitting next to me informs me that there is no sales tax there! Coming from Chicago where sales tax is 10.5%, I feel I need to at least consider taking advantage of this opportunity. Any recommendations on where to check out for high horology pieces? New or pre-owned is fine with me.
I love this watch, but the poor (or non-existent) anti-reflective coating on the crystal makes it hard to photograph. Fortunately, today is a cloudy day around here, so I was able to capture the beautiful guilloche dial.
Rated to 100m with a screw down crown so on paper should be able to handle surface swimming no problem.

Didn’t even know this existed until a week ago, and was able to trade in my PFC288 for a very fair upgrade. Sharing as it’s something different from the brand and a great example of a unique looking piece that can be found at a big discount compared to the recent pieces (with the new PF logo) since Guido took over.
