Nomad failed.

After a few months of use, the case gained a beautiful patina. Today, unfortunately, it failed me while I was cleaning it. The camera tray was detached from the case, and also, the bottom of the case is extremely fragile, which was ripped off.

Tekmomo case is exceptional

Got the original color for my 17 PM. Came in yesterday and I’m impressed! Very light weight and relatively thin for a leather case, only 39g (yes it was measured).

I had every gen of apple leather case and it did go downhill after probably iPhone 13? What I hate the most about the newer gen’s was the coating. Thick layer made the case feels like fake leather. The coating on the case though is good and thin which I like since it would let patina happen sooner. It literally started softening up on day 1.

Did some buffering last night with only microfiber to wear off the coating a bit and applied a bit coconut oil today and then buffered a bit.

Also, Q is a very cool and chill dude!

Bullstrap Terra or Bourbon

I got my Bullstrap in today. I ordered Terra- but does this look like bourbon to anyone else? Is it too dark for a Terra?

Bullstrap Sienna Flex Cases: Mine vs. My Wife’s

Both are 14 months in this photo. Mine is on the left. I’m definitely rougher with things, lol.

Ryan London 6 months in

I have quite a few cases in my collection (few from andar and 1 bullstrap), but for some reason, I can’t seem to stop using this one for 6 months straight. It feels the most solid in the hand, and the leather handles drop well as it heals very well. Most importantly, I’m loving the patina.

the beauty of worn leather

i've been using my leather wallet for about two years now, and the way it has developed that rich patina is just stunning. every scratch and mark tells a story, you know? i love how it transforms over time, becoming more personal and unique. it's like a reflection of my journey with it. has anyone else noticed how certain brands age better than others? i'm curious to hear your experiences and see some pics of your own leather pieces in their natural state!

iPhone 17 Pro Max leather cases- patina previews (Andar, Decoded)

Sharing the aging of multiple leather cases I have for iPhone 17 Pro Max. Each one is aging with their unique profile, which is visible in regular use:

  1. Andar Aspen: Saddle Brown - Grainy, rustic finish. Complements rugged boots and shows great personality. Ages with the most character. Shows wear and usage marks- which tell their own story.

  2. Andar Aspen: Navy - Oil-waxed, clean and luxury finish. Ages nicely, shows a luxury finish and combines well for sneakers, casuals, and jeans. Personality shows through color shifting more than patchy patina.

  3. Decoded: Solid Clay - Different, unique, and brings a sharp look with the camera plateau cover. Leather ages nicely, cleanly. Does not show age through discoloration but develops a rich glean. Some tendency to retain scuff marks along the corners.

Now using the Andar Aspen, in Brown. My 4th leather. The Andar is really high quality, great in hand feel due to the slim profile, and amazing finish.

I've seen leather wallets get shiny with age, but does that happen to leather journals too?

I feel like the leather journals pati na & get scuffed & darken in a very cool way, but I've never seen a old shiny one.

The Best Slim Leather Case for Under £20 - Kingflag

As someone who usually prefers going caseless, I’m incredibly impressed. For less than £20 (with a voucher), this is easily the best leather case I’ve used—even beating out my Nomad Traditional and Apple Techwoven cases.

In terms of leather quality and slimness, this unknown brand actually outperforms the big names. It is significantly thinner and feels more premium in the hand. The only drawback is the Camera Control: it features an open cutout rather than a dedicated button like the Nomad or Apple cases. However, if you want the slimmest profile possible without sacrificing material quality, this is the one.

Nomad Modern Chromexcel Burgundy after two months of normal use

Nomad Modern Chromexcel Burgundy case after about two months of normal use. It feels nice, but I’m disappointed with how it looks now. I wasn’t rough on it either.

Just received

Tekmomo leather case came in today! Decided to give this brand a try after coming across their site. Tremendous quality leather case for the price point. I absolutely love the feel of this case and the color is beautiful. Goes well with the deep blue pro!
