is it worth it to get premium plus? I’m SO TIRED of the amount of ads. im wondering how limited the ads actually are on the premium plus subscriptio. I’m only streaming for housewives binging

It’s not a Peacock original but available on Peacock TV in the US so posting here. I don’t see this show mentioned enough so wanted to make a mention. This show is really good in many ways and maintains or raises the tempo with each season.

Pretty much the title, if you could bring back any Peacock series that has been cancelled. What would it be?? Also what are you favorite current Peacock series??!!

Any and all issues related to the Peacock service should be posted here, not just some random post.

When posting issues, please provide information about your setup, i.e. the platform (Fire TV, Samsung TV, etc) and device ('Fire TV 4K stick from 2024', 'OLEDB65CUA', etc) you are streaming on. It would also help to know the exact piece of content you were watching when the issue happened.

We have signed up for PeacockTv off and on, to watch a couple of shows, but ended it at the end of last year.

They had a $2 mo/$20 or $25 for a year deal for a couple of years (BF and maybe other times). Is there anything like that now, as we only watch a few things, but have more time during the summer?

We've been peacock subscribers for years, 99% of what we watch is Premier League soccer, nothing else.

Just got the notice that our pricing is going up from $79 to $109, which is pretty steep.

My subscription ends on 7/22 and the Premier League does not kick off until August 21st.

At this point I know that canceling altogether is not feasible. So I have 2 questions:

1. There is a Select Annual plan that is $79 but it has an asterisk that says "Watch TV with ads. (Excludes sports, movies and Peacock Originals)" Not sure what "excludes sports" means, does this mean I still get Premier League? I'm fine with the ads because a soccer match will be uninterrupted once you get past the ads when loading.

2. If I cancel now are there typically retention offers that come up? I'd be fine with canceling now and rolling the dice on a retention offer rolling around before the season starts.

Any strategy insights are appreciated.

I keep going back and forth on Peacock. There are specific sports events and shows that make it useful, but I’m not sure it belongs in my permanent monthly stack.

And for people who cancel and return, do you plan around specific events or just wait until your watchlist gets big enough?

I want to get a subscription. Before I do what plan do I get to watch the World Cup. Since tomorrow June 24th there’s going to be 6 total matches and each group is going to play at the same time. Is there a way for me to watch both at the same time like split screen?
