Canada is currently second in Group B after defeating Sweden (5-3), Italy (6-0), and revenging all over Denmark (5-1). Today we take on Norway via the NHL Network/TSN/IIHF as it looks like this will NOT be free on YouTube like the previous game (Boo).

I will keep checking back as we get closer to the puck drop and will leave the link here if they provide one! 🏒🐧🍿

Malking rotation next year

Do we think it might be worth resigning Malkin and using him in a rotational role next year? I don't think it's too common at all in the NHL but it could be a best of both worlds situation where he gets a rest every few days and we can evaluate one of the young guys without putting too much pressure on them.

Unlikely he would want to do this but I think capping him at 60 or so games could keep him a lot fresher

Mario Lemieux #1 in CHL history

I just posted this in r/hockey, and again, hadn't seen it posted elsewhere. Just some love for Le Magnifique. If there was ever a career I wish I could re-live for the first time again, it would be his, as short and sporadic as it was.

IIHF Championship - May 18, 2026: Group B: Canada vs Denmark @ 10:20am EDT (Crosby, Wotherspoon)

Photo Credit: @ hockeycanada on Instagram

After taking down the Swedes 5 - 3 and Italy 6 - 0, Canada faces off against Denmark in what is likely to be a more challenging game. So buckle up, Pens, skip work with me, and probably sail the high seas because the Yanks are taking over the NHL Network and bumping us to virus-ridden waters 🏴‍☠️🦜🐧🍁

EDIT: I lied. NHL is broadcasting the game on YouTube apparently. No pirating necessary! (Unless you want to)
