Man I'm just so impacted.. this important news just matters so so much to me because it's so important to me, personally, and affects me in my everyday life so so much that I am just so impact and thankful that Charlie decided to speak about this very very important topic about epic games and steam and I'm just so glad that you posted this because it's really really important to me in my everyday life

Penguinz0 is a channel I watch a lot, and he seems to be well respected, but something that confuses me is when people call him a fence sitter when it comes to politics, and I think that’s completely wrong.

When it comes to politics, Charlie isn’t a fence sitter, he has common sense. Is it really THAT hard to believe that someone like Charlie is down to earth like that?

Not to mention, when it comes to his opinions about media, he has a lot of hot takes. For instance, he hated the Arlong Park arc in One Piece, he hated Diamond is Unbreakable, etc. He HAS hot takes, just not when it comes to politics (from what I’ve seen), and I really don’t see the problem with that. If anything, it’s refreshing to see someone with his level of fame be so woke.

His content revolves around tearing other people down and showing the bad side of people and humanity. At it's core, his content is basically, analyzing the bad in people and seeing what's wrong with them and showcasing their flaws. For example, in one of his recent videos, he talks about an Arby's manager and how she's a shitty person for doing something completely shitty to one of the customers. Videos like this seem to be very common on his channel; he's basically making content that's saying "hey look at this shitty person, and seeing how shitty of a human they are."

There's just something about the negativity that rubs me the wrong way.

I would rather watch content that shows the good in people and helps lift them up, not content that shows the bad in people and tears them down. Because sure, humanity sucks sometimes, but there's also a lot of good people out there. And when you're building people up, helping people out, there's just something about it that makes you feel good on the inside.

I think Penguin should make less videos on why people suck, and more videos on why people are good. I think he should make more videos on helping people out too rather than tearing them down. There's just something about it that helps the soul.

I watch and have watched hundreds of thousands of Charlie's videos like this, where he calls out some scummy person on the internet for doing something blatantly scummy. This one immediately felt different.

For Charlie to talk about some dumb kid like that will inevitably lead to what has happened, which is that now if you go to ANY of her social media or even her twitch gaming channel or her youube, EVERY fucking comment is talking about the hair salon review and calling her out and harassing her. And all of this over her leaving a single negative review?

Did she fuck up? Yes. Does she, a tiny gaming streamer with like a hundred subscribers, deserve to be hounded and dogpiled and insulted and threatened and harassed by every fucking person on the internet, now including Charlie's millions of subcribers/viewers, on every one of her social media and channels that have nothing to do with her salon review? FUCK no.

EVERY SINGLE comment on every single one of her videos/vods/shorts/instagram posts even going back months now is now a shitpile of people saying the same thing over and over again, meming and shitting on her about the 1 star review thing.

This is the type of thing that actually causes peope to have mental health problems, this shit is what makes already troubled people, God forbid, c***** *******.

Charlie shouldve thought this through before he made a video about this, because although not all of his subscribers/viewers are like this, many have and will do shit like this and seek out the lolcows he talks about and fucking harass them into oblivion, to the point where its well past what they deserve, and there are already people in her comments saying they came from Charlie's video.

If you sort by new in the comments in Charliw's video, here are a lot of people thinking the same thing, that yes what she did was wrong, but she doesnt deserve all this, and it feels wierd that Charlie is talking about it so nonchalantly, when its a random person with such a tiny online following, where she is now being overwhelmed by bigger channels' viewers. IMO Charlie should maybe make another video on it and talk about how just because he made a video about it isnt a greenlight to seek out and harass the person hes talking about; hes done it in the past with the LEGO store video where when Reckless Ben was getting attacked by B&MF, when people started physically going to the stores and destroying merchandise/harassing employees in retaliation, Charlie called it out.
