I had unprotected sex on July 22. My boyfriend ejaculated outside, using the withdrawal method. My period is 8 days late — it was supposed to come on August 9, and it still hasn’t. I took a pregnancy test today using my second urine of the day, and the urine was quite concentrated because I had barely had any fluids. This is the result. Is it negative? And if it is, what could be causing my period to be late?
32 f with pcos and suspected endometriosis. I haven’t had regular periods for years because I’m bleeding most of the time. I started bleeding heavily 8 weeks ago, and have been cramping more and clotting (unusual for me to THIS degree). My fear right now is endometrial cancer. I woke up this morning in severe pain from cramping and felt a huge gush of blood so I ran to the bathroom and proceeded to pass blood clots for two hours until I dragged myself to the shower and passed one the size of my hand and decided to go to the er. I have been passing massive bloodclots constistently since getting admitted. Still waiting to see a dr and going crazy. Has anyone else experienced this before? Sorry photos are graphic.
I’m really anxious and honestly starting to panic, so I would really appreciate some honest opinions.
I’ve been with my boyfriend for 3 years, and during that time we have had unprotected sex, but he has always ejaculated outside of me. There have also been a few occasions over the years when he did ejaculate inside me, but I took emergency contraception afterwards and nothing happened.
Our most recent unprotected sex was on July 22. My period-tracking app classified that day as having a “medium” chance of conception, but again, he did not ejaculate inside me. After ejaculation, he always cleans himself thoroughly, I also wash myself, and he has never ejaculated and then penetrated me again without washing first.
My last period started on July 10. My app predicted my next period around August 9 (cycle day 31), but today I am on cycle day 38, so I am about 7 days later than the app predicted.
I also looked back at my actual period dates to see how variable my cycles have been:
October 9
November 9 → 31-day cycle
December 9 → 30 days
January 8 → 30 days
February 11 → 34 days
March 14 → 31 days
April 12 → 29 days
May 14 → 32 days
June 13 → 30 days
July 10 → 27 days
So although my cycles are usually around 28–31 days, I have had a 34-day cycle before, and my periods have not always arrived exactly when my app predicted them.
What is making me even more anxious is that I don’t really feel like my period is about to come this time. Usually, when my period is approaching, I get some mild discomfort or pain in the intimate/pelvic area. This time I currently don’t have any pain at all, which is making me worry that something is different.
I currently have some white/creamy vaginal discharge, not a huge amount, but thicker rather than watery. I have also had occasional sensations of pressure or the feeling that my period was about to start, but then nothing happened.
I cannot take a pregnancy test immediately because I have very strict parents and I currently have no practical way to buy one and take it privately, so unfortunately I have to wait before I can test. This is making the anxiety much worse because I cannot get immediate reassurance from a test.
Given all of this, is pregnancy realistically possible from the July 22 encounter, or could a delayed ovulation simply have pushed my period back?
I know withdrawal is not a reliable contraceptive method, and I’m not asking whether it is recommended. I’m specifically trying to understand how concerning this particular encounter is, considering that there was no ejaculation inside me.
I’m extremely scared because I really, really do not want to be pregnant. I’m also worried because I don’t have my usual pre-period discomfort this time. Has anyone experienced a cycle where their period was late and they had none of their usual “it’s coming” symptoms, but their period eventually arrived?

The spotting last 2 weeks till I start my period

I have always had very regular cycles, usually getting my period on day 28 or 29 every month. 4 months ago I got my period on day 21 out of the blue. The next was day 26, then day 30, then day 36 and now I’m back to day 35 again but with no period yet!! What on earth is going on?!

I've been getting some spotting mid-cycle not sure whether it could be ovulation bleeding. Does anyone else get it?
I’ve not been on hormonal birth control since I was 19 - started taking it when I was 16 (now 25) since then I’ve always been irregular. I’m thinking there’s something wrong hormonally but I really don’t want to go to the gp for them just to say go on the pill (what they said last year when they were concerned I hadn’t had a period in nearly 3 months) but I have been like almost a year with relatively normal cycle lengths 29-40 days (maybe this isn’t normal still🥴
I have 4 days of Bleeding usually. Day 1- light flow( pad filling obviously)
Day 2- moderate to heavy flow
Day 3- moderate to light flow( light flow towards the end mostly)
Day 4- light flow (1-2 pads enough)
Now day 5 and 6 while urinating generally I see some residual blood small amount come out. It is normal right? And day 5 and 6 I don't usually require any pads.
Hello, going on cycle 12. My cycles are usually 26 days long. This is cycle day 28 for me. I am 13 dpo, confirmed ovulation only through LH strip testing but was extremely obvious and the darkest line I’ve ever seen, way darker than the control line.
I am 35(f) partner is 30(m). I started amoxicillin last week for a dental infection. I should’ve started my period yesterday or today, but no signs and I am as regular as it gets. I’ve never been this “late” in a year. Has anyone else experienced a few days delay in their period when taking amoxicillin? I haven’t tested yet as I did earlier last month and kept getting pesky faint lines and then a BFN on 13 dpo. I’m more comfortable waiting a few days.
I have lots of little symptoms like some spotting on 6 dpo after sex, which never happens at that time.
Sore breasts and nipples, increased urination and fatigue. No spotting at all which can happen for me 1-2 days before my period.
Lots of other “symptoms” but I know well enough that it can all be progesterone.
Body temperature has been +.92 above baseline for the last 8 days.
I’ll figure out one way or another but my biggest question is if amoxicillin delayed your period?

Mine are usually quite irregular, but for the past 3 months I’ve had a period every month. However, my last one was very light, with only a small amount of bleeding. If the body check ups are all okay and there is no sign of pcos or pcod, why do periods still get shorter? Gynaes just prescribe multi-vitamins. I've been to 3 doctors for this and they have no real answer as to why my periods got shorter. In the beginning, I used to have 4-5 days periods but in the last few years they've reduced to just one day, it didn't happen suddenly but gradually. All the tests come out normal. Should I be worried? My mom also told me that her periods only lasted a day or two all her life. But my flow is also very light.
