Hello! Are there fake or not Persol glasses?
Hi guys,
I’ve been looking at used 649s online (not really vintage, just used, often current models) and about 90% of them have cracks in the bridge area – those little vertical grooves seem to be very prone to cracking :(
Some people still advertise them as “very good condition”.
Is this a known problem? Or is it always mechanical damage like dropping, sitting on it etc.?
Can’t believe all those are fakes.
Just wanted to share my experience with Persol, so anyone buying directly from them is aware of what they will be dealing with…
I placed an order directly at Persol.com, they sent me the wrong size. It could happen, not a problem. I initiated the return and they sent me a label that I used to send the pair back. Received the confirmation of refund on 4/16, and 3 weeks have passed now and they still are telling me to give them another week to process the refund!! Absolutely horrible horrible customer service from a brand that markets itself as a luxury brand!
Anyone thinking about buying anything Persol should look to other retailers and avoid their website!
Hi everyone,
I’m currently scratching my head as to how my lenses of my Persol 3199’s got scratched. It seems to have happened pretty suddenly, as these scratches were not present on Monday.
I take very very good care of these and I buy Persol’s specifically for the glass lenses, which are supposed to be more scratch resistant. Is there any way to fix these scratches without damaging the glass or messing up the polarization treatment?
Persol doesn’t sell replacement lenses for this model froM looking around. There’s 3rd party replacements, but I don’t want those.
Thank you for your helping in advance.
Just curious because they were a gift from my father.
Buonasera!
Ho da poco acquistato questo Persol PO3272-S colorazione Havana (sì lo so, dalla foto sembrano neri😂) con lente polarizzata Polar black.
Questo occhiale era disponibile solo nella taglia 55-20.
Secondo voi mi sta bene oppure è troppo grande?
Grazie a tutti!
