Would you rather get the Fortuner GRS or the new Land Cruiser FJ VX?

Not really planning to buy a new car but since the release of the new FJ I really wonder if this car would thread the needle in the 4x4 midsize wagon segment. Price-wise it can compete with all the top variant wagons. The question is would you rather get it over the practical choice like the Fortuner GRS?

Suzuki Fronx SGX vs Toyota Yaris Cross V CVT — need advice (first-time buyer)

Suzuki Fronx SGX vs Toyota Yaris Cross V CVT — need advice (first-time buyer)

Hi guys, need your insights.

I’m a first-time driver, planning to buy a car for my family of 3, and I’m choosing between:

  • Suzuki Fronx SGX
  • Toyota Yaris Cross V CVT

What matters to me:

  • Daily driving (mostly provincial use)
  • Durability / reliability
  • Ease of use (beginner-friendly)
  • Best features for the price
  • Something that won’t give me headaches long-term (10 years) since I don’t plan to change cars

For owners / those who’ve tested both:

  • Any regrets?
  • Which one feels more “worth it”?
  • Which would you personally choose and why?

Appreciate honest opinions 🙏

CAR RAMP SUGGESTIONS (40 CHARACTERS NEEDED)

Good day guys,

Or baka may iba pa kayong suggestions. Thank you so much.

1st family car recommendation.

Hi guys, nag babalak ako bumili ng first car and since may kids na ko, 7 seater ang target ko. Now, I really like how STARGAZER X handles and so far, best suspension sa mga na test namin. Close runner up is yung SUZUKI XL7 dahil very reliable.

halos magkalapit lang yung bigay sakin nila agents after promo and discounts pag Bank PO. Kaya im leaning towards getting Stargazer. ang worry ko lang is, marami concern about parts pag need i repair. nag improve na ba yung supply?

thanks!

I’m open to hybrid, gas, or diesel and want something reliable, fuel-efficient, comfortable, and good for long term ownership.

I’m considering:
- Corolla Cross
- Creta
- Territory
- Jaecoo J5
- MG HS

What would you personally choose and why? Especially interested in real owner experiences.
Thank you!

We already reported then to LTO, nakuha na namin ang OR (sa portal) but CR is still pending, sabi ng LTO nasa dealer na. But wala pa rin, di nakikipagcoordinate ang dealer. Sana mag-sara na yan sila.

First time namin bumili ng car, feeling namin iniipit kami ngayon ng Agent. What to do?

Context:

1st quote: Cavite branch- 70k discount
2nd quote: Alabang branch- 120k discount plus optional insurance 38k
3rd quote: Balintawak- 155k discount

So tinimbang din namin based on freebies na bibigay samin ng 2 branches, and we decided to go sa Balintawak branch.

Is this some kind of agent fraud or strategy? Nascam ba kami? Totoo kaya? how can we deal this pahelp plssss 🥺

Bakit may manghuhuli?

Gumilid po ako and asked a local if pwede ba talaga diyan, and nasabihan ako na may nanghuhuli and bawal u-turn. Na malayo pa daw ikotan.

Sa mga nakakaalam ng lugar na to sa may Parañaque, bawal or pwede mag u-turn?

Check engine light is on, any ideas?

I recently underwent a depressive episode, I’m hoping you could all be kind with your response.

I left my car untouched for around 2 months with only 1/4 level of gas. Last week, I used it and the engine light was on. I drove the car 3 times already going to the doctor, around 10km roundtrip. I have not noticed anything bad and I only drive around 40-60. It drives fine and I already loaded up on gas but the engine light is still on.

I haven't had my oil changed for some time, I think.

I know that the best course of action is to go to a shop but money is tight since I lost my job while on my episode as I just did not want to face anything. How bad is this engine light situation?

Car is a 2015 toyota vios with very low mileage around 40k as i was just working from home mostly even before the pandemic .

7-Seater Recommendation: Okavango Hybrid vs. Destinator GLS vs. PHEV

Hi everyone! I’m currently choosing between the Geely Okavango Hybrid, Mitsubishi Destinator GLS, and possibly a PHEV as our next 7-seater.

I’m a bit hesitant about a PHEV because our parking is open-space and around 10–15 meters from our house, so charging might be inconvenient.

For current owners, which would you recommend based on reliability, fuel economy, maintenance, and overall ownership experience? Open to other 7-seater suggestions too!
