Tesla Sales Advisor

This might be a wrong sub but please hear me out.
I applied as Tesla Sales Advisor, they ask me basic questions like if I can drive or have driving license and answered them honestly, I said no and without and so on.

Right after the call, they still want to do a face to face interview with me and even gave me a tip to study as they sometime do role play. A pretend role so they can ask me the specs of the car.

Now, the exciting part is, I don’t even have the slightest idea of what car models and specs they have. As customer, what are the things you want to hear from a sales advisor about the car, especially Tesla. Please help and give me an advice here as I badly need one.

Is it smart to join the Vf3 waitlist?

Our house is semi solar-powered so hindi ko finafactor masyado yung kuryente. For context, this will be my first car if I get this. And I think “fit” siya sa lifestyle ko. I am a wfh mom and my usual lakads lang ay mag hatid-sundo sa kids at mag grocery, plus weekly eat outs.

Medyo may kalayuan school ng mga bata (around 20min drive from our house) at dahil sa taas ng gas, tumaas din ang tricycle fare.

Will this be a good investment considering our day-to-day activities, or mas okay to get a 2nd hand car? Tbh, I have no idea with cars. I just want to be able to bring my kids from Point A to Point B safely(both kids have autism and adhd) the journey always affects their moods and performance sa school at therapy

Thanks po!

Car Insurance Claim Timeline - is this normal?

Sharing my comprehensive insurance claim experience with SGI Philippines. This is not a complaint naman since they eventually processed my claim and settled their payments with the dealership and I now have the car back.

Feb 17, 2026 - date of when accident happened; with police report

March 4 - Initiated claim with the help of insurance coordinator from dealership
March 7 - received generic email from SGI that my claim has now been assigned to a claims handler
March 19 - Same person from dealership sent another follow-up email
March 24 - I sent a follow-up myself (this time I indicated the timeline above and intended to make it a running timeline each time an email is sent
March 25 - Finally received an email from handler saying he will call me through Viber for a virtual inspection, which eventually happened later that day
April 8 - Received approved LOA from handler
April 10 - Dealership provided a quotation to SGI and they exchanged emails to negotiate parts and amount to cover
April 16 - I paid the depreciation fee of 20% (car is over 3 years old na) to dealership and was advised that the parts will be ordered and is expected to be delivered within 10 working days. I'm surprised wala silang (SGI) hininging participation fee, expected ko pa naman na on top of the depreciation, and also part of my budget na din
April 18 - SGI sent a revised and approved LOA and asked for advance billing. Dealership emailed back and acknowledged it.
April 20 - SGI sent a follow-up email to dealership for the advance bill. I sent a the same follow-up myself hoping it'll get their attention
April 25 - SGI sent another follow-up email, to which dealership responded later in the afternoon with a service invoice attached
April 27 - SGI acknowledged and advised they'll process it immediately
April 30 - SGI sent an image of the check dated Apr 27, a copy of a payment voucher, and form 2307
May 4 - Dealership acknowledged receipt of check
May 6 - SGI sent an image of deposit slip
- I texted the service advisor for an update on when I can take my car to their casa to start the repair. But I kept my cool and sent the screenshots of the April 30 emails with the check and deposit slip. Wala man lang apology for not reading the emails he was CC'ed in all throughout. Haaayyys
May 11 - I took the car to the dealership and left it there
May 20, 2026 - got the car back

---

Is this really the normal process? From March 7 til March 25 (kung kelan ako na mismo nag follow up) ska lang nila pinansin yung claim ko? Or good timing lang kay handler na di na sya busy nung time na yun at ako yung huling nag follow up

Damage on my car was not really severe so I still got to use it in the middle of all this.

Kayo po, what insurance company do you know na mabilis lang yung processing? I mean I can't imagine cases that need more urgent attention than I mine

Overall and in all fairness, I'm still very happy kasi they still held up with the expectation as insurer. Come next renewal I'll probably still choose them for my car insurance. This is my second year with SGI, last year may incident din na I was involved in, it took a lot of back and forth but it still ended up getting the expected coverage which is why I still chose them for this year.

PS. I paid SGI only 16k for my tnvs unit this year. Other insurance companies I inquired asked upwards of 50k kahit matanda na unit ko with over 90 thousand km clocked in on the odo so I went with SGI instead. Super happy kasi they paid over 70k (which is money I don't have) to have my car repaired. Same din last year: paid 17k and they covered 35k worth of repairs. Saying na super sulit, in my opinion, is an understatement.

Thanks SGI!

Pps. I am not paid by sgi to share this. Simply sharing my experience, and asking if there other providers who can process much faster, and appreciating sgi phils for living up to expectations despite the time involved in the process lalo nat doing the math, alam mong lugi na sila sakin and nasa kalagitnaan pa ng coverage policy ko sakanila

Amoy yosi ung leather seat ng nabili kong sasakyan

Hello mga sir. May bagong bili ako na NX200T f sport. Amoy yosi sya after ko tanggalin ung air freshener.

Choosing between the 2026 MU-X RZ4E and Territory Hybrid. Need real owner input

Background
100km city + 200km highway per week. Family of 5. Metro Manila daily grind plus occasional provincial trips.

Territory is ₱326K cheaper at ₱1.399M vs ₱1.725M, saves ₱1,344/month on fuel, but the MU-X has 230mm clearance vs 185mm and seats 7. On paper Territory wins — but I keep second-guessing.

Four things I need answered: (1) Reliability — any surprise costs or hybrid system issues? (2) Driving feel — does the RZ4E feel underpowered on NLEX? Is the hybrid transition seamless? (3) Real km/L figures, city and highway. (4) Parking tech — which 360 camera system actually works better in tight Makati/BGC parking?

Our car was flooded: what now?

Hello!

Davao city was recently flooded, so was our car (Wigo, automatic), last Tuesday. Around 5 inches above the plate number yung height ng water. I just wanted to know what the next steps are and what procedures should be done? May ma recommend po ba kayo na car repair shops and how much does it usually cost, para di po kami ma scam 😂

We tried to dry it out as much as possible. Naka open lang po yung hood the whole day yesterday in hopes of drying it out. We tried using the car today and it runs fine pero naka on po yung engine signal niya.

We know nothing about cars talaga huhu.

Philippines driver’s license

What if lang

Dapat best of both worlds ang alam at relatable pag kukuha ng lisensya.

At isa pa, what if we make driving schools competitive?

Maybe i put too much faith in this country pero whatever what if lang naman.

Is MG Hybrid Good?

Really looking into full HEV's today.

What caught my fancy is the MG3 Hybrid plus.
It has way too much power than any other hybrids in its category.

Wanted to ask any MG Hybrid owners (kahit hindi MG3 hybrid) out there if sulit ba talaga ito considering I want to keep it more than 5 years?

Any thoughts?

Newbie question: Coolant top up

Last week i noticed na may leak sa bandang Radiator cap ko so bumili ako ng rad cap. Then naikabit ko na then i noticed may leak naman sa may maliit na hose near engine bay so dinala ko sa shop. Na-seal na then nag top up ng coolant and bleed.

Byahe ako simula last week hanggang yesterday and stable naman sa 90-96 yung temp but may time lang na nag 100-101 sya but sa traffic light and mga secs lang siya tumagal then balik na ulit to 96.

Kanina out of curiosity lang chineck ko yung rad cap then i noticed hindi na kita yung coolant. What i did was nag top up ako pero konti lang naman dinagdag then nakita na ulit yung coolant (siguro about 30-50ml lang) then i checked yung reserve nasa above MIN so tinop up ko hanggang MAX. Then close na yung mga caps then start engine.

Mag l-longdrive kasi ako tomorrow and need to make sure lang na safe kami sa byahe at walang aberya. What are the things that i need to do pa and check para less hassle?

For reference, this is a 2005 Honda Jazz

Thanks
