Hey I am trying to start my fitness journey and obsessively researching and think I may be looking too much into things. If any of you do pilates or any other cycling or barre classes in studio (solidcore, jetsetpilates, corepower, clubpilates, the pilates and wellness studio, orange theory and soulcycle or purebarre) around philly, what has been your experience and would love to hear what location you consider best among all. I have access to wellhub so I can do multiple studios through that but want suggestion on distribution like 2 days at solidcore + 1 pilates + 1 soulcycle and such.

I didn’t know how to be specific in the title but I’m looking for a new (preferably woman) PCP since mine is currently ghosting all her patients.

I really appreciate someone who will advocate for me and actually take the time to listen to me. I’m overweight and working on it but I’ve had so many medical professionals immediately dismiss me and ignore any issues I’ve had. When I finally found my current PCP she actually listened to me and I finally felt calm at the doctors and received the treatment I needed.

I’m also concerned about not having access to my ADHD meds with a new doctor. Lastly if anyone has an OBGYN recommendation, I’m extremely anxious and my PCP inserted my IUD and I need a regular checkup. She was able to do the insertion and I felt nothing, but she prescribed medications for it.

I really appreciate any help, I’m open to private practices with waitlists. I’ve had awful experiences with doctors and my ex pcp was literally amazing but I need to find someone.

I’m not going to name drop the stylist or salon, but I started going to (redacted) Salon sometime last year after the stylist I was seeing at Barnet Fair moved to a different salon that was somehow even MORE expensive. I LOVED how she cut my hair, but I unfortunately don’t make $100+ for just a cut money.

I went to this salon based on so many recommendations from friends and mutuals too. When I called the salon and said I’m looking for a stylist who does shags/razor cutting they paired me with this stylist.

This is the third time I’ve gone home really disappointed. Last time my bangs were so unbelievably crooked, if I showed you a picture you would CLOWN on me for even going back. The left side of my head was longer than the right side. i couldn’t pull my hair up for weeks because there was a chunk missing where my bangs are supposed to blend in with the rest of my hair. It also didn’t even look or sit like a shag.

When I asked them to even out a couple things a little today their entire vibe changed. I honestly just don’t have the time, energy, or money to keep leaving unhappy and fixing it myself. I’m on medication that is causing me to lose my hair because I’m really sick, so I’m a bit more emotional about it than I usually would be

So I’m looking for a stylist who actually specializes in razor cuts/shags.

My dream job is to be a print designer and I saw that Urbn has a few roles open rn. I’ve reached out to the recruiter directly with a small project I worked on and I haven’t heard anything. It’s been two days. Idk what else to do. It feels impossible to get in this company, or even get a response. I’ve been out of school 10 years now and only ever got one in person interview with them. It’s frustrating and upsetting cause I know I’d be a great fit. Idk if anyone has any insight about the company and its hiring process? Thanks in advance.

Central AC at Solidcore Rittenhouse has been out all summer, leaving classes extremely hot, crowded, and uncomfortable. I’ve consistently heard both members and coaches raise concerns about the heat, yet months later, there’s still no resolution. The only response has essentially been access to the lobby water fountain. !

Has anyone successfully escalated an issue like this beyond studio management? Any advice on getting this taken seriously??

Really interested in this treatment and wondering if any other queens have gotten it! Would love to hear comments about results, where you went, and price point!

On the website there’s an online consult form but it doesn’t let me book anything, just sends me a text telling me to book through a link (and the link just takes me to the same page for the online consult form).
