Are any bars doing a finale watch party??

Hi! does anyone know any studios/instructors in fairmount/center city/south philly (pretty much anywhere) that actually corrects during class? also open to smaller situations. I saw Philadelphia Pilates club which looks great but their times don’t really work with my work schedule.

I have never been a gym girlie. Like literally haven’t been inside a gym since school, never used any equipment. But I’m postpartum with my second and my core is literally in pieces. Too intimidated to join a Pilates class bc those women are always shredded. Anyone know a good personal trainer who can help me with some basic strength training and core rebuilding? Bonus if it’s a woman bc men could never understand 😂

Hi all. I have a bad nervous habit of both biting my nails but also picking around the cuticles. I try to curb it but nothing I do ever works. I’ve put this off for years but I need to finally get this under control and I thought that the best way to do it is to work with someone who can help me go from what I have now to something fun like I see on Instagram. I think that if I have really cute nails I will be far less likely to attack them.

I am Autistic so do have sensory issues with press ons so I’m a bit hesitant to get gel or acrylics (I don’t know the difference) but I’d like to try. I haven’t gotten my nails done since I was a kid and even then it was just polish. I’m turning 30 in November and have a lot I want to achieve before then. I hope the nails will be semi easy to check off the to do list!

I’m not sure what a regular budget for nails is and how often I will need to go so tips there would be great. I also would like to know the difference between nail techs (they’re just freelance right?) and a salon and who would be better to go to for my situation. I’m in Fishtown and have a car so I can drive as long as there’s parking. Any advice would be appreciated!

Who does the best facial balancing in the Philly/ suburb area? Someone you’ve personally seen and recommend?

My hair stylist in fishtown has now increased her prices to $500+ for a “lived in blonde” which is highlighted, toner, and a shadow root. Unfortunately, that is now out of my price range. What’s everyone else paying? And does anyone have any recommendations of different stylists? I’d be more comfy with the ~$350 range… but if $500 is the going rate I will have to budget differently I guess 🤷🏼‍♀️

So I have to leave town for a funeral when I get out of work today, I don't really have too much time to go to a bunch of different places and I'm worried it'll be hard to find a plain black dress in the middle of the summer. I can easily get to the Rittenhouse area and Fashion District with the time I have.

If I had to go to just one place, where should I look? I don't want it to be too cheapy but also like sub $80 would be ideal. Also can't be super slutty lmao, I will be speaking at this funeral.

I had a consult with a doctor in Bryan Mawr two years ago, and was very unhappy. He tried to upsell me tear trough implants and I was very adamant that I did not want that much surgery. I also went through cancer treatment right after, so never got it, but I'm just done with major surgeries in general! The fat below my eyes is obvious and I just want that taken care of. any reccs or experiences?!

Most recently, my pcp left the practice and no one notified me? Only found out because I tried to schedule on the portal and her name wasn’t there and I had to call them to see what was up. Live in Delco but work in Philly, so I’m open to providers in either area

Hey ladies! Had a lash lift done a couple of weeks ago that went haywire. One eye’s lashes look great, but the other eye’s lashes have fallen and twisted to the point that it’s noticeable. I called the place that did the lift asking if there was any way they could take a quick look at them to see if anything can be done, but that was three days ago and I haven’t heard back. I don’t want to be rude, so I’ll let it go. It is what it is.

Anyway, I’m not sure if it can be corrected and I’ll live if that’s the case, but I’d love the opinion of someone who is reputable.

The lobster clasp on one of my necklaces broke down (you can see some of the wiring sticking out, and I assume assume would be the spring)

I see that the clasps themselves are pretty cheap online, but I don't have the tools/knowhow to do the swap. I also don't know if there are any places that just have some stocked already, and could maybe do a walk-in repair
