Pixel 9a users

Today, i noticed that mobile network and wifi cannot be turned on at the same time,

Earlier the priority was Wifi network over mobile network, now we have to select either of them.

It's kinda bothering coz whenever I step out of the house I need to turn on the mobile network?

Has anyone noticed this behaviour change too?

Is there a workaround or we need to get used to this new change?

Device unstable after last update

So, after the last update the device isn't behaving well. Random ghost touches, sh*t battery backup and i am totally fed up with this.

Am i the only one with this issue, or this is frequently happening with google pixel devices?

Zagg crystal palace case

Purchased the Zagg Crystal Palace case for my pixel 9a. I already own the crystal palace lite, but this one is more protective and also more refined. I think it still falls into the slim category of cases, has ample raised lip above the screen to surpass any tempered glass screen protector. Added grip strips on the side and a very snug fit. Very impressed.

Best price for a Pixel 9a, New, not refurbished.

I have a Pixel 9a, my wife needs a new phone, so I thought I'd get her a Pixel 9a also. I bought mine 1 yr ago, it seems they are now $100 to $125 more. Anyone know of a sale or a discount coupon.

Should I buy Nothing Phone 3a, Pixel 9a or Xiaomi Note 15 pro+

Hello everyone! I’m thinking about changing my current phone and wanted to ask for some recommendations since I don't know much about phones.

I'm looking for a budget-friendly phone with a decent camera and good battery life.

I don’t really play games, and if I do, it's usually just some small games. I do use my phone quite a lot throughout the day for social media and apps like x, telegram, tiktok, insta, messenger etc.

I’d really appreciate hearing opinions or reviews from people who have used these phones or just in general what would you guys prefer overall for a phone.

Thank you in advance! :)

battery life

just bought the pixel 9a, while the overall phone is good. i just cannot get over the battery life. its just...not what i expected. people saying they can go a day with full use and even day and a half. but i feel very skeptical of it, mind you im not even a heavy user. should i give it some time or is it like this with everybody?

A little bit disappointed overall?

I recently came back to the Pixel (9a) after previously having the 4a a few years back (using standard Android phones in between e.g. Oppo) and after living with it for a few months now, I dunno, just feel a bit disappointed overall with it compared to what the reviews suggested at least, and wondered if others had the same experience?

Yes the camera is good, although it can give mixed results, but some things like the lack of easy screen casting and basic things like not having an usable wake up alarm if the phone is switched off are surprising. Even a really cheap android phone I had could do both with no problems.

Like others have found the auto brightness is at best random, and the frequency of the screen lock lag/freeze is a bit too often for my liking. The battery life is ok but not amazing.

Maybe I was just expecting too much 😂

9a battery draining quickly

I've had the 9a for less than a year and it started out great but the last couple of weeks my battery can't last the day. I use adaptive charging at night and today I took it off the charger around 8 this morning, and with less than 4 hours of screen time by the time I got home from work around 4 it was already less than 30%. The screenshot today is from after I already plugged it in.

The charging is also terrible despite which charger I try to use. Half the time it says "plugged in but not charging" or if I plug it in outside of adaptive charging hours it'll still say it's going to take several hours like the second screenshot I added which shows 7+ hours.

I don't have new apps and didn't use data for more than 30 minutes today, streamed for less than 2 hours of that screentime. My music is downloaded to my phone so didn't even need wifi for that. I'm so frustrated.

Is there something wrong with my phone or is it a google update or something I can try to fix? It always says battery health is normal when I try to check. I have had to factory reset my phone a couple times early on because I had lots of glitches when I got it. The battery was fine though until recently so I thought I was safe there. Any advice? Anything I can try?

Google pixel official cases

Hi there, i dont if this is allowed in this group but i am a 10a user and i cant find the official google pixel 10a silicone case here in my country, but for some reason there is only 9a available.

Is there any chance that 10a cases are the same as 9a in terms of their size and other features?

Suggest case for pixel 9a (India)

I have already tried a transparent silicon case which turned yellow after two weeks. I also tried a polycarbonate transparent hard case which has got lots of scratches after two weeks of use.

Please suggest me a good case. First preference is transparent. Others will also work.

Please do share amazon, flipkart or any other websites link.

Screen Guard Drifting

Guys my 3 months old pixel 9a I changed the screen guard 3 times due to drifting, and the third time was a very high quality one which was a case friendly protector which had 1mm gaps at the ends.. and this one also drifted today! My phone never heated in 3 months, and my case lips also dosent touch the protector! When i visited the shop from where I applied the last protector he drifted it back to center and fixed it. I asked him why is it happening again and again, he told me that this issue is common in Google and Nothing phones while it dosent happen for Samsung and iPhones. When I asked him is it the same thing with Spigen protectors, he told me yeah every protectors drift in Google phones. Is he just faking the news or is it true that Google phones have this kind of issues?

Temperglass plays a major role

I have applied supcares tempered glass, which has massively increased my user experience. Before when my right thumb fingerprint would notbe recognised(most of the time) by my 9a(I have to place it 3or more times) --I have deleted and added multiple time now only found out the culprit was the old tempered glass...

Who all r waiting for stable android17;
