I don't know why, but these earrings I made make me think of those octagonal side tables at my Aunts' house when I was little. You guys know what I'm talking about?

Tbh not much people know about the bird of paradise flower so I have included a real image of it in the third image

This is the most unique custom order request I have received so far - a pipe cleaner lamp with the lamp head being the bird of paradise flower

But I love a good challenge and I’m please with how it turned out and wanted to share it here☺️☺️

I turned these two vases today out of cherry and juniper wood. They are drilled at the top to fit a glass test tube. I make these out of a many different species of wood. My wife and all her plant friends love these things, so I thought I would share here.

On my never ending quest to make as many beautiful flowers from wood as possible, today I introduce you to my Galaxy Orchid. I have hand mixed all the colors and glow in the dark features. I use Glow In the Dark Powders from TechnoGlow with the clear acrylic medium and then add in drops of color from the other acrylic paints I have. This is cut from 3mm Baltic Birchwood with my S-1 20w diode laser from XTool.

I heard long ago that men never get to enjoy gifted flowers. Or at least not while they are alive. So I asked my son what his favorite flower was. Of course he picked an orchid, one of the hardest flowers ever to keep alive. At least in my experience.

So this year for his birthday, I made him Galaxy Orchids. These beauties capture all that makes up an orchid, including the roots coming out of the pot. And then they GLOW!!!

I will be making some cotton candy sunset ones next for my sister. Trying to think of other cool color combinations I could try to encapsulate. Any good ideas?? I love suggestions.

I would love any feedback. Good, bad or inbetween, it helps me see things from a different perspective.
