Haven't played Ark:Survival evolved since 2023 and I recall it being around 100 maybe 150gb but what did they do to make it almost 212 gb?

I tried observing a Bron[tosaurus] from a distance with View Distance set to Medium. I kept moving backward until the Bron disappeared at the edge of visibility, then changed View Distance to EPIC—but the Bron didn’t reappear. I had to walk a few steps closer before it rendered again. Does this mean View Distance doesn’t affect dinos render distance in ASA’s single-player mode?

I'm having issues with the mortar and pestle. Anytime I try to craft necrotic isn't not showing. I tried removing all mods doing a mind wipe and making a new one. I know the engram button isn't lite up but I can't click it

How has it been 3 years and still cant use lights on rafts? Like I know it's Wildcard, but such a thing should of been fixed week one after it bugged out.

Can you upgrade cursed BPs with the Tinkering Desk without losing the cursed on it?

Long time player here, I just got a new PC and have been having The Itch™ recently, but I always played on Xbox. I do own the game, it's not through game pass, and I can download it onto my PC through the Xbox app, I just would like to mod it and I'm not sure I can since it's not on steam.

I'd totally try ASA, but I'm not confident in my RTX 3060's ability to run it

Hey y'all!! I was a mobile player for about 3ish years on ASE - I absolutely fell in love with the map, dinos, etc. etc.

I recently got a Nintendo Switch and dowloaded ark - as much as I love ASE, I would like to experience something new but familiar.... any recommendations??

I wasn't fond of the Genesis maps - seemed too sci-fi for me

Fun fact, I learned by bringing 100 mushroom brews with me while hunting multiple artifacts of the stalker. They can't benefit from mushroom brew OR take radiation damage. I couldn't find anything definitive online that mentioned this so I hope this helps the community

So I purchased bobs tall tales awhile back and the sir-5rm8 aka survivor mate seems completely broken in single player. The whole automation aspect simply doesn’t seem to work correctly. They just stand in place repeating the same lines over and over. They get stuck on everything. I feel like I’ve tried everything I can think of to get them to work. I believe bobs tall tales was released 1 year ago so I’m wondering if at this point, should I just accept devs are not going to fix this and I didn’t get what I paid for?
