Missing Play History and Playtime Statistics on PSN Profile

Hello PlayStation Support ‼️

I am experiencing a serious issue with my PlayStation profile.

Although I have played more than 250 games on my PSN account over the years, my profile now shows only about 90 games. Many games have disappeared completely, while others are still listed but have lost their playtime statistics.

My trophies are still intact, but countless hours, days, and even months of my gameplay history have vanished. I have invested a significant amount of time and money into the PlayStation ecosystem, and seeing years of my gaming history disappear is extremely disappointing.

I have also noticed that many other users are reporting the same issue, which makes me believe this is a server-side problem rather than an issue with my account. Please investigate this and restore my complete game history and playtime statistics.

If this issue is not resolved, I will seriously consider leaving the PlayStation platform. Preserving players’ gaming history should be a basic feature, and losing it has greatly reduced my confidence in the platform.

In addition, I have seen reports on social media claiming that physical game production may eventually be discontinued. If those reports are true, experiences like this make it very difficult for me to trust a fully digital future and continue spending large amounts of money on digital games. At this point, I am beginning to wonder if I should have invested in an Xbox or a gaming PC instead.

I would appreciate a response and a clear explanation of what is happening, as well as confirmation that my game history and playtime statistics can be restored.

I'm boycotting Sony & PlayStation, and here's my reasons why;

Sony just made a big mistake. They decided that they will no longer print physical game discs, beginning in January 2028. They want games to only be digitally downloaded only through the PS Store now.

We still want to own physical media and own games physically. Nothing should be only digital with internet access now. If 'buying' isn't considered 'owning' anything anymore, then piracy is not considered stealing anymore either.

That's why I'm starting and participating in a Sony & PlayStation Store boycott. And I encourage every single gamer out there to do the same as me.

Do not buy anymore games from the PlayStation Store, or buy anymore physical games from the stores all together. If you have a PlayStation Plus subscription, now is a good time to cancel it and get a full refund.

Maybe you can buy used games from different sources still, but make sure that Sony/PlayStation doesn't make one single cent from it.

Join me in the boycott; it's for the customer's choice, the consumer's choice, and for the common gamer's choice.

We have the right and the power to ownership.

Sony ending physical disc production

It’s the year 2026. Console wars are no longer against each other. They are against us, the consumer.

If gaming has meant anything to you in the past 30 years, you must resist this movement. Boycott Sony. Stop buying digital games from Sony and cancel your playstation + subscription. Let them feel it in their wallet, because at the end of the day this is a capitalism decision: led by greed and profit seeking. Deny them those profits and we gain back control. It’s as simple as that. But for it to work we NEED to move together. Spread the news to everybody you know to boycott Sony. To stop buying their digital games. To cancel their subscriptions. I cancelled mine 2 months ago, because I realized greed had already taken over Sony when they announced their dynamic pricing experiments.

Spread the news.

Questions That Haven't Been Addressed About The PS3 Store Closure

So here's a potential list of questions up in the air still after Wednesday awful announcement.

How long will users actually get to download previously purchased content?

As the wording of "for the foreseeable future", seems to imply that they will pull the support in the future. For this already paid for option.

Will Codes for DLC or games work after the store has shut?

Are trophies or the online game lobbies still going to work even after this shutdown?

what will happen with any and all patches updates for purchased games. Are they going to be unavailable for re-download and making most ps3 games potentially unplayable?

Just that and many more questions to be yet addressed here, which is very concerning.

As it seems, it's for real sadly this time.

Hopefully, this post will stay up, as for whatever reason, the r/playstation decided to delete this.

Is Sony Trying The Old "Look Over There" Tactic, To Distract Users That PS3's Store Is Closing?

As it does make whoever think, on why would they announce the physical media and this store closure, both at the same time.

Whatever the case, this has clearly not a good year. If anything it might legitimately be the worst in recent memory.

What physical game copy do you still remember like it was part of your life?

For me, it was Resident Evil on PlayStation.

The case, the disc, the silence before playing, and the dogs jumping through the window all stayed with me.

Digital is easier, but physical games gave memories a place to live.

What game copy takes you back instantly?
