Ploopy Classic (RevA) BTU Mod

I've reprinted my Ploopy Classic with Polymake Panchroma Dark Gray Galaxy filament. I have the Revision A mouse but reprinted the Revision C, everything fits great, besides 2 holes I had to re-drill because RevC has 4x phillips screws, RevA has 2x phillips and 2x socket head hex screws. I should have reprinted the bottom plate but it was faster to drill.

I've tried other BTUs but nothing works like the Bosch Rexroth KU-B8-OFK. Super happy with the build!

Edit: the video didn't work

Sensitivity jumping up on adept

Recently my adept has started this annoying habit of randomly jumping up to an insanely high sensitivity with no button input (just moving the ball around). I start pressing the button I've bound to cycle between the sensitivities to get it back, and it takes a few cycles to get it back (IOW, I know it's not actually jumping up to the next/max sensitivity level in the software, but rather some other issue)

Anyone else have this issue or know what it is and how to fix? Thanksies

Bean Preorder Update, Week 1

We managed to get all of the Early Access units shipped out late last week, and some of them have already arrived in the hands of our supporters. We've already seen some 3D prints and some early revisions of the firmware from the community, which is always nice to see.

The Bean is a unique design in that the hardware and the firmware are both the first of their kind to be used in a QMK-powered application. Because of that, there are some technical risks to iron out.

To that end, our Early Access units allow us to solicit feedback from a wider audience at an early point in time, so we're going to hold off on shipping the first Tier A units for at least two weeks while we gather information. If there are bugs to fix or optimisations to implement, we should be able to within that timeframe.

In the meantime, our shop is cranking out Beans as fast as we can.

Stay tuned.

New bearings!

Got my new bearings from a shop that sells fishing supplies!

Seller claims that these are "boutique" and has a tight tolerance of 0.005mm. Handles RPM up to 6000RPM WOW.

Does it even matter in an Adept? I don't know haha.

My fairly new stock Adept bearings feels crispy and I didn't like it. Swapped to these and it does eliminate the crispy feel.

Definitely felt more sluggish too. It's probably the thick grease used in the bearings (Or the stock bearings lacked grease).

Well I'm glad this is fun to use now!
