My big bunch of bunnies!! (collection)
I change/cycle through plush when I change/wash bedding. I can’t fit everything on the bed at once, so they get stored in totes when they aren’t out. Today I decided to pull out ALL the Plushie Dreadfuls I have gotten so far for a collection picture. Since I don’t have any on the way for a bit (building a wishlist though). I like seeing collections all together laid out like this so I wanted to share mine.
I’m a new-ish(?) fan of Plushie Dreadfuls in particular as I got a lot of these after the release of the Alice bun. My roommate also collects these for him and his daughter so I admired them originally by proxy. He has a lot of the older ones back when they were called Mysterious. We are both big fans of the original Alice games. I mainly like cats so at first I didn’t buy the bunny plush, I would buy the prints and my first ever Dreadful was actually Scruffy Bumps (the black cat with the Chaos hoodie on). That is until I got my hands on the Alice one. She was so beautiful and well made. I especially appreciated the long eared design because of the custom printed fabrics in them. It was basically the start of me collecting them because I once I had one of my own and saw the clothing options I really fell in love. The pictures are always so cute, but something about being able to hold them in my hands always wows me. I love the different textures and unique fabrics. I love how they don’t always use the same materials for the different bunnies. Always soft, but differ sensory feel.
I actually have names and headcanons for most of them!! Some of the newer ones not yet, but eventually they will. My Alice is a hunter protector. She wears a cloak and the Queen of Heart’s dress. My Hyperthyroidism bunny named Jaylah is the one that wears Alice’s iconic dress because I love changing up their clothes and trying different combinations. San my riding hood that was able to befriend the wolves, become their leader and saved her wise grandma named Red Hood Cinder. My black hole bun, Hestia has the Jabberwocky power when she wears her dress. This is to name a few, but it’s probably too much to go over ALL of them.
I’ve been working on some custom items for them too. I altered an American girl doll dress and made a book out of felt for Raven my gothic bunny. So I’m going to try and make more outfits and accessories for others.
It all started with a Scuffy Bumps and now I have a giant heap of bunnies. The crazy part is if I could, I would have more lol I usually have to take a while to save up and buy a batch.
