Speed and refrence help

So I currently have the engine out of the car, and I have the starter hooked up, so that I can get readings with the speed and reference sensors. I gapped the speed sensor at 0.8mm using a washer attached to the bottom of a defective sensor. The speed sensor is producing 2.3 V AC, a little higher than it should, but not too much of a concern. The reference sensor however, is only producing .301 V AC i tried swapping the sensors, and the readings are the same.

Are these readings actually okay? Or is something possibly wrong with the bracket, the sensors are mounted to? Maybe even the pin on the flywheel?

Even though the bracket is in good condition and the pin looks to be in good condition.

Please let me know. I would really love to get this engine back in the car and see it running.

Thanks.

Edit: its a 2.5L naturally aspirated 1983 Porsche 944

Should I run this block?

Overbored and finished to 101mm, but there is still a bit of pitting in cylinder 4. It’s beyond what could be taken off to stay within the 101mm bore target.

Asking for opinions on running this for a non-turbo daily driver

Will it run for 10 min or 10 years??

Evergreen Turbo Raptor X #6 Upgrade

I have a 1987 Summer Yellow 944 Turbo that I’m getting ready for 944Fest. I’m in the process of getting major maintenance done that includes rebuilding my stock K26/6 turbo and upgrading it to an Evergreen Turbo with Raptor X #6 mods that will make it a “hybrid” K27/6. Does anyone have any experience with this upgrade? I currently have the Lindsey Racing 951 Max Performance chips, 3.0 Bar fuel pressure regulator, Lindsey Racing boost enhancer, Lindsey Racing silicone K27 J Boot, and cat delete. Everything else, including the fuel injectors and wastegate, are stock. Are there any mods that I need to install in order to safely run this setup? The boost enhancer is set to 10psi (stock) and the chips are supposed to limit the boost to 15.5 psi. I plan on upgrading the injectors, wastegate with boost controller, a new tune, and other supporting mods in the future. I just want to make sure that my 951 runs safely (no plans for the track). Any advice, suggestions, word of caution, etc. is greatly appreciated.

Central locking system not working

Hi everybody

Play 1986 Porsche 944 was equipped with a central locking system, but every time I push The locking button, the relay makes a clicking sound, and the light goes on, but then it dims and then it just goes off. I checked the fuses and the fuses seem fine in the central locking unit is working fine, but I don’t see any movement from the locks and I don’t hear any sound from the actuators in the door. Do any of you know what could be causing this issue?

Premium coilovers without the “Porsche Tax” from LPM

It took awhile to get this program in place, but we are thrilled to announce the new LPM Digressive coilover system for the 944.

Working with the same Taiwan factory that supplies higher-priced brands, we asked for their best possible components - no fancy color anodizing or rubber boots, just put the value on the *inside*.

Rear crank sleeve

Hello everyone, has anyone installed a speedi sleeve, or any sleeve in general on the rear crank of their 944? I’m looking into possibly doing it but I’m unsure of how to go about the flange removal, and I’ve read on forums that the flange bottoms out before the sleeve is flush. Any tips or pointers would be greatly appreciated.
