it's not special... but it is mine. and I have fun with it.

Numark Pt-01S. 3d printed knobs and fader. made the printed fader spring loaded so it acts more like a momentary switch (that I can easily change out). pcb tone arm with a audio-technica head/cart. custom slip mat with a felt platter stabilizer mod. adjusted the speed control to play properly at max for 33/45 and centered for 78 (speed on that one was weird) so i can slow them way down. the white thing is a kind of guide that keeps the tonearm off the main body like some other more automatic players have (i have a neurological movement disorder and this mostly helps protect my stylus)

So is it easy to change the fader on the PT01?

Im not really mod savvy but I just have the stock "fader" on mine and am considering getting the JD fader. I just dont want to break my shit trying to make it better.

Does it require soldering or anything?

Just grabbed this for $20!

Needed a little cleaned, no cables or backplate for the batteries but did come with a little scratch CD and seems to work as intended. It has the cover too.

Korg Handytraxx Tone Arm

Do you think there will be a modified Jesse Dean tone arm in the near future?

I have massive humming with the handytrax. When i touch the tone arm the humming is gone.

Issue with pr01

He I think my switch on my numark is bad I get the audio coming in and out the rca cable to my speaker is good.

I wondered if there was simple mod or a to bypass the switch entirely

Thanks

Traktor DVS control 7"

Alright, guys, I'm at a loss here...

I'm aware of superseal 7000, rare as fk.

I'd prefer the traktor time code as I use traktor pro 4.

Is anyone aware of 7" control time code? Official/bootleg doesn't matter.

What are you using?

Hip hop producer getting into scratching — SC500/SC1000 worth it?

Hi! I’m a hip hop producer and I’ve never scratched in my life. It’s always caught my attention, but I never really gave it a try. Recently I came across a couple of videos where people were using the SC500 to add some vocal scratches over their beats, and I thought it could add a lot of flavor to my stuff.

I’m not really trying to do anything super complex, just add little touches and scratches to my beats here and there.

Would the SC500/SC1000 be a good place to start? And what are the main differences between the two?

Also, if you’ve got any good tutorial videos, YouTube channels, or websites for beginners, I’d really appreciate the recommendations!

Grazie!
