It's still not quite how I like it, it's a bit disproportionate, and it could be rendered far better, but listen I'm not good at drawing most things let alone robots, I just want to show the fruits of my labour....

This has probably been done before but think it'd be neat to see some redesigns of the gimmicklanders based around another games central gimmick. Here's a sketch of Tree Rex if he was designed to be a swapper as an example. I call him "Bramblebash"

Had fun working on Double Trouble so I figured I try my had at few more redesigns. Hex has always been a bit plain to me so I wanted to give her design that stood out more and make her look a bit more menacing. Let me know what yall think.
I was looking through the Skylander files and found this concept art of Dr. Krankcase. I love this design, it's so much better. The Krankcase we got looks fine, but I love the concept design a lot more. What makes me mad is that in the Skylander wiki, there's a screenshot of an early Krankcase icon that was this design, meaning they (most likly) fully modeled this design, but changed it. Krankcase would've been my favorite if he looked like this concept design.
So I wanna make an au with the same premise as Injustice. Some of the good guys turn evil and form a regime to rule the world while the rest try to stop the regime. The thing is, I am struggling on who I wanna put in this au and who is on each side.
I already know who I want as the leaders. Spyro will be this aus Superman and Gill Grunt will be this aus Batman. That's just for comparison, I'm not replacing the Injustice cast 1 to 1 and doing an exact repeat of the story but with skylander characters.
I do have a few rules in place to limit who can be on this roster. It's helped me come up with a couple rosters, but none I'm fully satisfied with.
No gimmick skylanders. All were wiped out by Kaos. They were sent to stop something and the portal masters thought the gimmick ones would most likely stop it.
2 skylanders from each element. This is impossible because of light and dark each only having 1 core, so I including Astroblast and Nightfall as the only exceptions to the first rule.
Can't have multiple skylanders share both an element and game. Idk how to word that better, but it means if I wanted both stealth elf and Stump Smash, I couldn't because they're both life and both from the same game.
I already have 6 picked out. Spyro, Gill Grunt, Spotlight, Blackout, Astroblast, and Nightfall. Who should I include in the roster and which side should they be on?

This is a Project of Mine called Skylanders:Cross Colliders.
It happened mostly when Bowser and DK were revealed in Superchargers on Nintendo Wii U,when i saw that i thought to myself into typical Autistic Brain fashion:I'll make that into a Gimmick idea!
You know how Skylanders always had inconscistencies and locations that didn't make sense?,The story is that a Book called "The Beyonder's Encyclopedia" had been almost taken by Kaossandra after the events of Swap Force's Flashback,and when the leader of this team called "Cross"(The FIRST Skylander after The Giants) suddenly betrayed it's Skylanders team AND tried to fight over the book against Kaossandra,the heroes were sent away after their leader became scarred and the Pages were scattered across the Skylands,causing locations from Earth to exist somehow.
.....But it's the cover that is dangerous,after some multiples heroes,villains and other peeps from our media arrived in Skylands,the Cover was suddenly destroyed(By Cross in his new form of MASTER Cross),Skylands became a New Home for all of them,with new locations,Spots,Islands and also new species,like some recognizable like the Matoran from Bionicle and the Muppets,to some miscalleneous ones like various Living Vehicles of many racing media(Need for Speed,Grid,Speed Racer,Motorcity,Hot Wheels,etc.) and franchises,to some unknown ones even.
Our heroes were however were turned into Figurines,With the lunged pages becoming the Tri-Pods of Equilibrium,as for the crossover characters,they became the Cross Collider Companions,each one has a type(Power,Strength and Technique),but with 4 or 5 Sub-Classes between Element and Allyship Type.
As for the timeline,it's set after Imaginators and Ring of Heroes(Which is here more CONSCISTENT and Set after that game),It's also has the Portal Masters from ROH as your allies,but YOU are the one guiding your team of Skylanders and Cross Collider Compadres,now empowered by the power of the Crossovynite,a Energy source powerful enough to make a Fusion of the Team's abilities into a Elemental Powerhouse,no matter the combinations.(think the Bananza transformations from DK Bananza,but involving a fusion of a Skylander and three random characters).
There are also one thing the villains are After:The Elemental Power Beacons and their Crossovynite Elemental Crystals,which will be used to access the True Earth(Our world once and for all,as the Cover's destruction kind of closed the PM's of here to be stuck there after they made a Human Colony before this mess....,Oops.) And are usually home to a type of Old representation of Skylands' own past Gimmicks aligned with a Element fitting of them alongside the species that lives there.,but even then,there is a new location called New Eon City replacing the M.A.P and the Old Skylanders Academy as it was in unusage and falling apart and gets destroyed.
And there would be also references and Nods to other Toys-to-Life franchises,while also using things of them as little references and even some cool little costumes and details here and there,not to mention that Infiniteers and Master Builders are now a Type of Portal Master aswell.
As for the Sketches,these are some of the designs i've been making around with some freetime i now have at the moment and LOTS of it aswell,i've been trying to brainstorm ideas with u/No-Shoulder3918 , u/Taylorkreate and mostly these two for some funtime,alongside some chatting on Skylanders Discord.
Though,if anyone wanna DM for some of the characters' Bios,Sub-Groups and the Legacy-Skylanders ideas from the Prompt thing by Taylor,i might just want to talk to a Fellow Portal Master.
