Advice?
So I love these two albums instumentally, and I'm fine with gory lyrics, but I can't stand the songs with sexually violent or necrophilia based lyrics, ("born in a casket" from eaten back to the life, every other song is fine lyrically and then "gutted", "under the rotted flesh" and "butchered at birth" from butchered at birth) they make my skin crawl but I love said songs instrumentally, does anyone know if there's a way to bypass this discomfort and enjoy the music whilst still acknowledging the disgusting nature of the lyrics? Am I a bad person for wanting to be able to enjoy songs about such awful topics?
UPDATE: So I think I'm just gonna try again without putting much thought into it, to all who tried to give advice thank you and to all the elitist fuckwads telling me to "grow some nuts" (for being apprehensive about FUCKING RAPE) without considering maybe my personal life had events that made me more uncomfortable with it: great way to be welcoming someone new to the metal community, and u/dehntistree save some clown makeup for all your gatekeeping douchebag friends!
