Delusional !!
Most of my stuff is heavily discounted, over 50%, and in brand new condition. Like, people need to be more for real when they're offering. This is delusional.

Hi everyone, I really need some advice because I’m honestly pretty frustrated and confused by how this whole situation has been handled on Poshmark, and I’m starting to wonder if this is how they normally handle things or if I’m just very unlucky.
I’m a 5-star seller and have always had positive reviews, so I’ve never dealt with anything like this before.
I recently sold a brand new jacket. The buyer negotiated the price down by about 50%, which I accepted in good faith. After receiving the item, they opened a return request claiming there were stains all over it, and provided photos showing multiple marks. I was honestly very shocked because I know for a fact the item was in perfect condition when it was shipped, and I also have a packing video showing it clearly.
As soon as the case was opened, I immediately replied in the case thread (where both buyer and seller can communicate and Poshmark will review and make a decision), stating that I had a packing video and asking how I could submit it as evidence.
What’s really frustrating is that I never got any response at all. The message was just completely ignored, and the return was approved in favour of the buyer for “undisclosed stains,” without my video ever being reviewed or acknowledged.
I followed up with Poshmark support via email and sent the video again. I was given a very generic reply telling me to wait until the item was returned and then submit a report within 3 days of delivery.
Fast forward to now, I’ve received the returned item, and attempted to submit a “Report Problem with Return,” but the system keeps failing every single time. A weird message pops up every time I click submit. I’ve tried multiple times on both mobile and desktop, and it just won’t go through (I’ll attach a screenshot).
Has anyone experienced this error before? Is this a known issue, or is there any workaround?
At this point, I have to say I’m really disappointed with how this has been handled. It honestly feels like no one is really hearing what I’m saying — from the very beginning I made it clear that I had video evidence, but it was ignored and the return was still approved. Then I was told to report it within 3 days after receiving the item, but now the system wouldn’t let me to do so.
I was wondering if Poshmark has always handled returns like this — basically being biased toward buyers?
At this point, I genuinely feel like sellers have very little protection on this platform. It feels like even with a packing video as proof, it can still just be ignored. So it makes me wonder how I’m supposed to feel confident selling here at all, especially higher-value items.
Because if a buyer simply decides they don’t want something, it feels like they could just add a couple of stains and return it, and that’s it — they basically have full control.
Also, based on my past experiences reaching out to Poshmark support, they’ve never really been able to help. I honestly don’t understand what the 20% commission is actually for.
Whenever there are system issues or I need help with an actual problem, the response is always extremely slow, and in the end it usually turns into very generic replies that don’t actually solve anything.
It’s gotten to the point where I feel less and less protected as a seller on the platform.
I just wanted to ask — is this something other sellers have experienced as well, or is it just me?
I thought you couldn’t list anything under $5 so why would pm allow this offer? I would have made a whopping 5 cents.. like wtf
Siiiiiiiiiiiiigh
I sold a vintage designer bag less than the threshold for authentication. My add had detailed photos of everything. The buyer opened a claim & won. PM says I’m not getting the bag back! Wtf-it is authentic just close to 20 years old. What do I do?
Is it just me, or have sales slowed down a lot lately? I used to sell casually from my closet almost weekly, but I haven’t sold anything in months. I still share and list as usual. Curious what’s working for others these days.
Interesting thing I just noticed.... ever since I turned off the promoted closet... when I list a new item it's not getting any shares now. Whereas before promoted listing came out, and even during, I would normally get a ton of shares.
Has anyone else seen this?
Bear in mind I'm an Ambassador II so it's no small thing. I listed an item over 9 hours ago and not a single share. 🤬
How does that even happen. Posh mark does not list email address. How would someone even know to send me a phishing link scam.
Is the app down I can’t list anything? And get this msg
Has anyone else had this problem today with new listings? I activate them and after a few minutes them seem active but I don’t get shares on them like usual.
It made sharing feel way more active, helped listings get seen faster, and honestly made the app feel more alive. Anyone else miss it?
As stated, the item was delivered May 12 to the Post office. It’s still not been picked up.
When I tried the “release funds” option, it said the item was still in transit.
It will only be held until the 28th.
I sent the buyer a message letting her know it was ready to be picked up.
At what point can i get them to release the funds and how do I do that ?
Do I wait a few more days and then if nothing, should I escalate the conversation to include PM, then do they release them ?
Thanks everyone !
I have a bunch of ppl just putting one item in a bundle & then just leaving it…
I am mostly a buyer on poshmark and recently purchased something. It was canceled a day later. I don’t see a reason do they usually provide one or not really?
My only interaction with the seller was accepting an offer from them and buying the item. No messages or anything.
Lastly, I’m not sure if the buyer blocked me of not. I can still see their profile but their closet looks empty even though it says that they have almost 200 listings. I also don’t see anything if I filter by sold. Does this mean the were deactivated or I’m blocked or something else?
Can someone with more knowledge give me some insight? Mainly I’m just curious as it all seems a little off. Obviously if they decide they don’t want to sell me the thing that’s their choice.
I have noticed my luxury items are either FLAGGED or does NOT PUBLISH immediately. Sometimes takes over a day. Is this normal? I only sell authentic items and a lot of the time I have the receipts. So why is this happening? Thank you.
Was looking for some summery dresses and just inundated with AI models today.
My final straw was seeing the left photo, thinking “oh a cute tie dye dress!”, scrolling over, and seeing this literal nighty with lace trim, probably bought at Goodwill for $5. Listed for $50, mind you ☠️ FFS
I wish there were a way to filter it out because I’m over it. If someone has AI models for their listings, I’m not buying from them just on principle alone 😅
And I do mean plummet.
Been doing this for 3 years now. Sales grew every year. Man, has that ever stalled.
I’m getting tons and tons of likes, but no sales. It’s been like 2 and a half weeks now like this. I manually send offers all the time and I have smart sell activated for many listings. Nothing.
Is it the economy?
Or is Poshmark quietly trying to force pay to play now with their promoted closet?
I recently noticed that there aren’t many posh parties these days. When I try to share items, it’s asking me to give a host permission to auction at a show. Has anyone done this? What does the payment structure look like? I imagine the host would get some of the money too. What what would I be left with if I allow a host to auction off my items? thanks.
New to selling on Poshmark and have made a few sales! I have a few items on Marketplace but it can be a real pain as I live rurally. would like to branch out to a couple new platforms but not sure where to start. I have a few rare vintage things that I think might do well on EBay but am very intimidated with the shipping. Any suggestions, or tips would be so appreciated!!
I have been selling since 2016 and I don't recall them asking for an ID but they suddenly did. They are not letting me print out my shipping labels untill I do. But, I hear people say it's not safe to give them the info? What do you think?
Poshmark already takes their fee, now they’re charging to advertise too. What a sinking ship.
