I’ve been going through startup websites lately and noticed something funny.

A lot of them look really good.

Nice colors. Smooth animations. Fancy buttons. Little things moving around everywhere.

Then I land on the homepage and think:

“Okay… what am I supposed to do here?”

That’s probably a bigger problem than having an ugly website.

Sometimes the design isn’t broken. There’s just too much happening and not enough explaining.

So I’m curious — when you visit a startup website for the first time, what makes you stay instead of immediately hitting the back button?

My Concept is Even when you fail at everything, as long as you have hope, there is always a light.

Designed a poster for my kitchen, to motivate myself to dice an onion even if I don't feel like it.

Approaching like an architectural photographer for some of those designs also while retaining a bold and geometric style.

Movie inspired design

I'm not sure if there's a way to describe this type of poster, but i love it when the poster has a silhouette of a character and their body fades into an important object or person related to the movie or tv show or video game or whatever. I'm not exactly sure what this type of poster represents, but I always feel like the poster gives off a sense of crucialness or importance to the character that just feels so good. I've been trying to find good examples of this type of poster but I don't think its that popular. Here are some of my personal favs, if you know any others comment them below. I made this collage around the idea that modern cities are built on the backs of things we rarely acknowledge. The turtle carries the city. The city carries towers. And underneath it all, everything is burning.

Cover art for my band’s upcoming single ‘Rockstars’! The base image was rendered in Blender and then edited in Photoshop.

Hyped for the next MCU Spidey era, so I designed this conceptual street-level poster centered around the classic suit!

Blended heavy vertical typography, vibrant red silk textures, fine web overlays, and clean character preview panels at the bottom.

Just uploaded it to my Redbubble shop across framed art prints, acrylic blocks, duvet covers, posters, and magnets!

(although it might be already past august 15th in some parts of the world including Korea😭). Today's national liberation day of Korea following the defeat of Japan in WWII. I tried some clean swiss style for this one. Any feedback is welcome since this is first time trying this style!!
