Let me release your music

Genuinely just a dude with like 25 friends and a Bandcamp page but I’m kinda like looking to tentatively start putting out some other peoples music via my BC. Maybe some folks who can’t be bothered doing any of the annoying Bandcamp shit and just wants to rip some riffs and have the social steeze of releasing their music through a third party. Is this annoying and lame? Worthwhile? Necessary? Let me know. There will be no money made from this venture. No AI. No ai art no music no logos. This shit is DIY.

Justin Pearson talking about The Locust, weirdness, and not fitting into normal hardcore expectations

I recently interviewed Justin Pearson from The Locust / Three One G, and one of the best parts of the conversation was about how The Locust existed inside hardcore but never really behaved like a normal hardcore band.

We got into the visual side of the band, why they looked the way they did, weirdness, presentation, gender norms, and how much of that was intentional versus just them rejecting whatever people expected hardcore to be.

Thought people here might appreciate it, especially if The Locust / Three One G / that whole San Diego weird hardcore world was part of your entry point.

Got the Hong Kong Fuck You/Guilt Dispenser split 7” on its way from Italy, but this just arrived today. Couldn’t be more pumped to have found a copy, hope this project drops some vinyl at some point as well.
