Baby girl enjoying some people watching 🤷🏻‍♂️🤷🏻‍♂️

Here's our beautiful girl we rescued from a kill shelter 4.5 months ago.

Anybody have experience with a presa, Irish setter cross? Neighbors setter got loose and may have got our dog pregnant.

So this is Pablo, I got him from a neglect home a year ago and he was around 25kg, very timid and fear reactive.

Skip one year and much hard work, feeding, training etc. and he’s now around 45kg, goes into coffee shops and walks up to random men, women and even kids asking for a stroke while he wags his tail.

However, I went into a local shop and the cashier told me that he has Presas and has had for a few years, and that Pablo here needs feeding and should be around 60kg or more. He also then went on to say that Pablo should have more white on his chest, smaller jowls and a smaller head, and that he can’t be full Presa!

He then proceeded to show me a pic of his presa, which has a tiny head compared to its barrel body, and tiny jowls. Figures.

Someone ‘educate’ me please on what a true healthy presa Canario should look like and correct me if Pablo is definitely not full Presa. Thanks! FYI he’s 28 inches from the floor to top of his shoulder blade. He’s huge.
