Can't intake insane security prisoners

So I've recently started playing this game on my switch and I'm on the final of the story missions where you make a successful prison. I decided to take up a grant for the criminally insane. I got the psychiatrists all set, the padded cells, and the padded intake. Everything is ready, but when I add criminally insane people to my intake, they never show. I'd ask for 2 max sec and then 10 insane. But instead I'd get 12 max sec. Then I tried just asking for 10 insane, and I did this 3 times. Nothing showed at all. No bus, no prisoners, nothing. I've tried looking this problem up online but can't find anything. If anyone can tell me how to fix this I'd very much appreciate it.

What’s your most brutal riot aftermath ever

I think this is up there for me. Even the riot guards couldn’t survive.

Staff Not Picking up Food Trays

Ive had this glitch happen to me for a second time now. The inmates eat food out of trays, leave them on the floor dirty, and then not a single staff goes and pick it up to clean it. Then because there are no clean trays all of my prisoners starve. Is this a common glitch on console? If so is there any fix? I’ve already had to completely recreate my prison in the exact same way, and now it’s happened again. Please if you have any info let me know.

Installing metal detectors before entering visitation room is kinda funny.

So I am a beginner just started building my own prison and I wasn’t really planning to install the metal detector because my prison is still small, housing about 16 inmates, but figured what the hell might as well try putting at the connection point between my prison block and visitation.

Turns out loads of prisoners were carrying contraband.😂

Instead of seeing their families they got sent straight to solitary. Lmao!

It is slowly growing and I really like this game. I just figured out you need a parole program for parole meeting to start going.

Point of cells grade

What is the point of cell grade? I read somewhere that having min sec cells be lavish and losing privilege the higher the sec, my prisoners will want to behave more... is that how the game logic works? If so, should super max have horrible basic cells?

Legendary problems 😅

Guys I need your help, I'm playing a game with everything active except the gangs and normal dynamic reputations, everything was fine until I found 2 legendaries including this one in the minimum (I only have that one for now), I made the dedicated block but I can't keep him he keeps running away and killing me guards and armed guards before stopping him, is there a way he doesn't come out without him killing me guards? Now I tried to just put 2 armed guards in the corridor below.

Thank you

Confused about "Slow Deliveries" mutator.

Simply put, what does this actually do? I've not seen a single "extra" thing that had to be delivered on a truck, the setting seems to do nothing?

Maybe I've just not been playing with it on long enough, I'm only on day 3 of my new save.

What the heck is up with the Days Without Incidents bonuses? It seems random.

Basically the title. I am making an outdoor "Forced Labor Camp" prison that is mostly a forestry and workshop. The area this guy was killed with a stun baton was within the prison and as far as I know he wasn't escaping.

I got the death notification when I watched him get stun batoned to death but it seemingly had no impact on my incidents.

I know murders/escapes count, and odd things like non-prisoner deaths don't count (I had a prisoner kill his parole lawyer and it didn't count).

Also in the same day, I had another attempted escape that resulted in the prisoner dying, but then he instantly "undied" and became unconscious, no idea there either, but this also didn't count against my incidents and it happened in the same day.

Is "abandoning" (Via selling/restarting) a failing prison to start over with more cash exploitive?

Just curious what people's opinions are here.

Right now, I'm doing a PA run where I start with minimal starting cash, small plot, and a lot of modifiers/DLC enabled, making the game really tough to manage in a lot of cases.

Now, because of this, starting on a small plot with 30k and my settings I've ended up in a weird death cycle where I am now on Prison 3, thinking about selling and starting Prison 4. Each time I sell, it's because something isn't quite right or I see a huge unsolvable problem ahead I'd rather redesign for. But now, I am able to start a brand new game with like $500k, so I can damn near build out a whole prison and knock out the entire research tree before I even accept a single prisoner.

I know a lot of comments will say "Play your own way" and "Make your own fun" without really considering the context (or even reading beyond the title), but that's not what I'm asking here, I'm asking how you personally feel about it.

So, while I am having fun anyway, am I kinda exploiting the game mechanics? I know this is a sandbox, and I know you make your own rules. But what do your rules say about this?

protective

the other side of the street is like criminaly insane and death row but the work/program areas are mainly in the middle of the main prison the protective custody area is behind all the staff stuff so no normal prisoners can get their i gave most of my special prisoners like protective custody death row and the insane their own area to eat and do yard the stuff thats being worked on now are just more cells for the prisoners and a new kennel area near protective cause the current one is small
