New GO setup

This thread inspired me to upgrade my setup and pick up the Profitec GO. It’s leaps ahead of my old Calphalon, which I got before I knew I’d be a daily espresso drinker. Such an amazing machine. Learning to dial was actually fun and now I look forward to my daily morning ritual of weighing and spraying tiny beans. It’s earned its own section of counter in my kitchen.

Stopped using the timer

Anyone else stop using the timer? I just set my double shot timer to max and start stop it when I think the shot is done. 3sec infusion 4sec pause and go.

My shot quality is significantly more consistent now.

Help undoing vacuum breaker to replace!

I'm trying to replace this part but I can't get it undone. I'm sure there is mineral buildup. Any tips to removing it?

Can you please recommend bottomless portafilters for my Profitec Go?

If it's an Aliexpress portafilter, please provide an exact name or link?

I designed and 3D printed a coffee bean single dose rack for my espresso station

Been single dosing for a while now and got tired of having multiple bags open at the same time. Designed this tube rack from scratch in Fusion 360 to keep different beans organized and within reach.

The rack holds 8 test tubes with cork stoppers – two rows, angled for easy access. Printed in matte black PETG to match the station aesthetic.

Would love to hear your feedback.

If there’s interest I’ll put the files up on MakerWorld.

File is live on Makerworld:

With link to the tubes and magnets.

The 3-Year Verdict: Profitec Pro 600 Quick Steam & Mazzer Mini

Dropping a photo of the morning station.

I've officially crossed the 3-year mark with the Profitec Pro 600 and Mazzer Mini Electronic. If anyone is on the fence about either of these pieces of kit, I highly recommend them. The workflow is incredibly smooth, and the shot consistency is top-tier.

I'm pretty meticulous about taking care of my gear, which I think is key to keeping these machines running perfectly.

Anyone else running a similar dual-boiler combo long-term?

Profitec Pro 600 & Mazzer Mini. Take care of your gear and it takes care of you! ☕️
