Concerning a certain vision of strange harmonies in divers places

Brethren,

Long have I laboured, seeking that hidden harmony whereby scattered things are shown to partake of one mystery.

Some were found in the visions of the progmen; others in the hidden libraries; others in the strange tongues of Zeuhl; others in kosmische vapours, electronic artifices, reggae lamentations, and gospel exaltations.

Being set in their proper order, these scattered witnesses appeared to speak with one voice.

Whether this be prophecy, dream, or merely the folly of an over-curious collector, I leave unto wiser ears than mine.

Three of a Perfect Pair - King Crimson - Chapman Stick band cover

I did a collaboration on a cover of King Crimson’s Three Of A Perfect Pair a little while back and the vid is up now!

For this one I embellished the drum parts a bit whilst still honouring the original, and it was a lot of fun putting it together and playing it.

Rob and Ian did a great job adapting the parts entirely for chapman sticks and it sounds awesome :)

What Rush's first concert after Neil Peart's death revealed about grief, legacy, and moving forward

Eleven years after Rush's farewell performance, I attended the band's first show with Anika Nilles and Loren Gold. Rather than simply reviewing the concert, I wanted to capture what it felt like to watch Geddy Lee and Alex Lifeson honor Neil Peart while finding a way to move forward as Rush.

The piece looks at the atmosphere inside the Forum, the tribute videos, Anika's debut, Geddy's vocals after the long hiatus, and why the evening felt like a memorial that fans never had the opportunity to share in 2020.

Horrid Fog - Iron In The Water

My band (Horrid Fog) just released our new EP yesterday and I just wanted to share a track here. We are very much influenced by a lot of prog, psych and dark folk - the sound is pretty much somewhere between King Gizzard, Lankum, Fairport Convention, Strawbs etc. So I figured people may be in to it!

We play a lot with time signatures (13/8, 9/8, 5/4 ... ), experiment with different instrumentation - anything from the fiddle to heavy synths (this track has both!), as well as trad vocal melodies.

Hope you guys enjoy it. Open to feedback too!
