PS3 FPS Unlock Patches

I put together working FPS unlock patches for 103 PS3 games tested on real CFW hardware

I’ve been cleaning up and merging PS3 FPS unlock patches from PSXPlace, RPCS3 patch.yml, GitHub repos, and community posts into one usable pack.

This release includes:

  • 39 Artemis patches I personally verified on a real PS3
  • 64 more confirmed by Joey85, Nascar1243, and others from the PSXPlace community
  • 2,542 extra auto-converted .ncl files in the full USERLIST/ for stuff that hasn’t all been hardware-tested yet

Some of the games included: Uncharted 1/2, The Last of Us, Skyrim, Fallout 3/NV, GTA IV, Killzone 2/3, Resistance 2/3, MGS4, Dead Space 2/3, Lollipop Chainsaw, Deadpool, Sleeping Dogs, Mirror’s Edge, Sonic Unleashed, and more.

You can use the patches in 3 ways:

  • Artemis .ncl files
  • PS3MAPI live patching through webMAN MOD
  • Direct config edits for a few games like Crysis, F.E.A.R. 2, Bad Company 1/2, etc.

What’s different here is that I also fixed a few patches that worked in RPCS3 but had problems on real hardware, and I listed the known broken ones instead of just dumping everything in.

PS3 won’t work

Can anyone help me? I woke up one morning to find my ps3 like this on screen O don’t know how to get it back to the menu screen. It’s saying I need to update to the latest version. But I already did that the last time I was online

Can someone tell me how to get pkg’s from the computer to ps3 using FileZilla

I’m not sure which folder to put it in? I’ve seen people on YouTube put them in GAMES or package and I put it in package this morning and installed it but I can’t find it anywhere, and when I go to hdd00 the file is there but it asks me to instal and write over what I’ve already installed

Direct play games on external CD

I have an old none jailbroken ps3 and I want to download some games from the roms sites and ps3 jailbroken download games sites and just put it on an empty CD to play directly, is this possible?

Okay i already downloaded some games and played them, but i wanted to know what are these programs for? I tried webman, it seems like a nice reliable place to use, i would like some tips on using it because the games i tried downloading on it are very slow

Need some help essentially there are very few PS2 games that were instead of DVDs they were duel layer DVDs such as God of war and gran Turismo 4-

-I have a PS3 slim that has hen and I encrypt the ISO’s so that I can play them and you know usually regular PS2 games work fine but with dual layer DVD games like God of war and Gran Turismo they don’t work they’ll load up but if you wanna get into gameplay, you need to put a config file or something. I just need someone to help me understand how to do stuff like that.

Is there any way to keep my trophies when I can’t sign into PSN (due to HEN) and cannot update without erasing all data?

I’m currently on PS3 4.91 with HEN installed. It’s not the most recent OS version so I cannot log into PSN to sync my trophies and also cannot update without erasing all content and data which as I understand is necessary when updating from USB.

Is there any way to sync and not lose them?

PS2 games from PKGi make my PS3 shutdown during gameplay

Let me clarify cause this statement can be very misleading.

  1. my ps3 is a slim (CECH 20XX)
  2. my ps3 on Evilnat 4.93

When I try to play PS2 games off my ps3 slim (installed through pkg), it just shuts off while playing. Don’t know if this is cause the ps2 game realizes it’s playing off hardware that does not contain an emotion engine and just dies or if it’s cause of something else. Either way, not really concerned nor looking for a fix because I have a ps2 with OPL anyways that I play off a crt but if anyone is having this issue and wants to fix it, feel free to discuss in the comments. I deleted all my ps2 games off my HDD cause I’m pretty sure it’s not healthy to do smth that causes a machine to keep powering off. (And no I don’t think it’s a heat issue, my temps are well within the low 40Cs)

4.93 update

Hey I just got a my old ps3 and wanted to mod it. it’s good to be modded, I did the HFW then went through that step did flash writer switch my file within the usb put it back in to install evil nat, went to system then media stick download, it went though then after a few updates and some other stuff this popped up. but after this pops up I’ll click start and it either gives me a serious error code please ask for assistance. or a error code. idk what I did wrong especially bc I thought I was following the steps to a tee. now I’m thinking I have to clear the hard drive then try.

{HELP} My ps3 when ever it boots up it shows me this

The screen boots to the xmb for a few secs no 0 seconds flashes then goes right to this. Happened after uninstalling ps3 4K pro
