I NEED HELP.
A few weeks ago I found sent messages from my account to a friend of mine, I never wrote these offensive messages and so I decided to change my password and enable 2FA instead of just Passkey, after about 2 weeks from the PlayStation app I get the notification saying “have you tried to log in to your account from a device?”, I denied access and now this message trying to log in to my account has arrived again, apparently someone always manages to get my credentials regardless of whether I change them or not, it's only 2FA that's protecting me now, I also forced an exit from all the devices so I had to manually log in my PS5 and Playstation App but still that scary “have you tried ti log in to your account from a device?” Still pops up almost every 2 days, what's going on PlayStation????

In Eastern part of US, whats going on with the internet connection? I've went through every possible solution and nothing working. Trying to figure out if its just down or if its my console.

I’m in Canada, Ontario…currently my PlayStation network is down, is it down for anyone else? I can’t do anything on my PlayStation at the moment and kinda sad…it’s my birthday too :(

I have 3 accounts and the rest work fine but this one is stuck on appear offline.. game and chats and everything else works.. purely cosmetic just wondering if there is any fix?

I got 30 games I bought on my account, the games are present in the library on my console. I tried to share this account with a friend, but on his console, my account only has 16 games in the library, which are mostly some free games I had, and not the ones I bought. I tested with another friend and it's the same thing.

Some answers to questions I received on a previous post: I know how sharing an account works, I have been sharing another account with a friend for over 11 years now, never had a problem like this. My account is set as primary on his console. The games were indeed bought. He verified correctly in the library on my account, not his. We live in different cities, but in the same country so it's also not a legislation problem. If it makes any difference, this account doesn't have PsPlus.

I recently noticed my ps extra subscription renewed even though it was switched off (I do this every year in case I do not have enough funds at that time). However it did it anyway and now says the subscription will expire next year.

For some context:

Subscription renewed on the 26th April 2026 to 16th April 2027

Due to my situation at the time my playstation wasn't even plugged in till a few days ago and I only noticed it now when I was going to buy a 3 month subscription

I have not played any ps extra games or online services on games I have only went on a party to chat to friends.

I am slightly worried as I have heard that Sony can deactivate your account until the subscription is paid which is not possible in my current situation.
If anyone knows what's best to do or has also been in this situation any help would be appreciated

This afternoon, I turned on my PS5 Pro after about a week of non-use. A week ago, I was playing GT7 and the game resumed from where I last played it (as normal). However, when I started navigating the interface, it was clear that it was having issues connecting to Playstation Network - the game was timing out and reverting to offline mode.

I continued to debug. Nothing's changed on my network recently or any settings related to my Playstation. I tried running the Playstation Settings "network tests". All the networking worked except for the playstation network step failed. I've verified that my internet connection speed is as expected (100+ Gib downloads speed). I tried rebooting the PS5, both soft and hard (plug out and waited 3 minutes). However, each time the machine boots up, it waits for about 30 seconds after selecting my profile and "times out"; I'm guessing it's trying to connect to PSN and is not able to.

I verified that I can log into PSN from a computer, and logging in on the computer works fine. Just for kicks, I reset my password for PSN and that worked fine too. However, when I try to "sign in manually" with the new password on the PS5, I get a timeout issue. I'm also not able to login when I try to login on the PS5 with the QR code. Sometimes the QR Code does not even load in the interface. The times that it does load, the IOS mobile app appears to approve the login correctly; however, the PS5 fails to connect and reports an error: "The connection to the server has been lost. There might be a network issue, or our online services or the service provider's server might be temporarily busy: NW-102633-5".

One error I've gotten repeatedly when trying to load GT7 is "Something Went Wrong: E2-CE210610".

The PSN status page reports no issue with service (though I don't believe it). I don't see any issue on the PSN side. This issue has been persisting for over 4 hours. Is there an issue with the PSN right now? If not, how can I further debug?

Juggling between a few different devices.

I think I might have uploaded a few screenshots using the "upload to ps app" function. Now I have no idea where they might have gone. I don't recall downloading/installing the ps app before, so if that is the case where do these screenshots go? I do not have psplus, so I can not imagine them storing these screenshots in the cloud indefinitely.

Alternatively, if I do have some version of the app on an old device somewhere or if I deleted it and just forgot, is there any way to check if its still linked? I do not see a playstation app in the "linked services" or "authorized apps" menu but I am not sure if it would show up there in the first place.

I currently have some issues on ps support about my account because someone changed my Gmail to their gmail and they keep saying for security reason they can’t help me i sent them everything including serial number and other stuff etc
Is there anyone who can help me? I’ve been spamming them with requests like 5 times a day idk if that has something to do with that I also heard you gotta wait 24-48 hour before contacting ps support again

Hands down the worst customer service I've ever used.

Bought a new ps5 pro and got it home, very excited because the first one I've had in a couple of years. So I get to putting in the account and I have an old account with tons of games on it, but when I enter it the 2 factor authorization is using an old number.

I call up and give them as much info as I can but they say they can't change or deactivate 2 factor authorization over the phone, only through the live chat. Kinda weird but ok.

Waited 30 minutes for a real person. They take my information and I request the 2 factor authorization be disabled so I can add the new number. They ask me some security questions, which are outrageous, like what is the serial number of the first PlayStation you put your account on? Who knows that? So the guy asked me if I still have that PlayStation, I'm pretty sure it was a PlayStation 4, and no that thing is long gone.

Then he asked me about the latest purchase, the order number and the first and last four digits of the card used. I gave him that information and he said that the information doesn't match up.

So a little confused. I call up and the guy tries using that information to authenticate me over the phone and I give him the same information I used on the live chat and he's able to confirm it. I tell him what happened and he looks into it and he realizes that the customer service agent entered in the information I gave him incorrectly. So he made a note on my file, and gave me a case number and said when I talked to live chat again give him the case number and say what happened and give him the exact information to authenticate.

After giving the live agent all the information the agent asked me for the authentication information, before I could give it They said "sorry we can't help you due to a security reason".

And then ended the conversation.

I've got screenshots of everything and it's such a weird interaction with customer service and after hours dealing with this. Not only am I not able to get into my account but there's something weird going on with it now.

Now my concern has turned from getting to the games that I bought, and not being able to access them. Them. To not being able to access my personal information that's sitting there right for the picking.

Why do I feel like it's easier for a hacker to get my information from Sony PlayStation than it is their own customer.

Anyway, I'm so over it now. I'm just going to play some Solitaire and drink until I can't see the card numbers anymore.

been thinking about this after reading a few horror stories about accounts getting flagged or banned for region inconsistency. not talking about anything shady - just people who moved countries, used a VPN occasionally, or registered in a different region for pricing reasons.

curious how common this actually is and whether it's getting stricter. steam, epic, psn - does each platform handle it differently? and is there a point where you've been on a platform long enough that they just don't care anymore?

I was on cod6 and noticed I have 2 friends with the same PSN coming up? But then I do view profile and one is different is that just a glitch
