He is a live hand puppet with no gloves similar to the Swedish chef because I didn’t have fabric for gloves.

I used a puppet nerd template for his head (the skull itself and fabric covering) the rest was free style.

Martin’s look is inspired by the neighbor from Friday night dinner, the human character from the crowns, flutes and wheels muppets advert and Dr honeydew that’s mainly the bald head and the eyeless look.

His skin is an old coat, his shirt was a curtain both i got from a car-boot sale, his mouth is a felt, tongue card foam and his bones are an old yoga mat i had in the shed.

My daughter has been building and just released her first video game on Steam, called Indigo’s Dreams. It’s an 8bit multimedia platformer that utilizes stopmotion, collage backgrounds, claymation and a puppet as the final boss. I helped with claymation and built this puppet from her pixel art sketch. After I did my interpretation of the Mutant King she changed the boss in her game to match more closely. He is featured in a cutscene before the final battle.

I was curious to see what folks here in the puppet thread thought about it and about puppets in a video game.

I know there are some imperfections or errors in its development, but at least I tried to make this iconic puppet from the series.

I have a stick attached to the lower jaw to control it but am having trouble finding a way to support/hold the head while operating the jaw. Any advice on what to do is appreciated (I can modify the stick if need be).

I’ve had this little guy for 6 years now and I would love to find his origins.

Wanted to post this here because I read quite a few threads on giant puppets and got alot of useful references to work from. This puppet tops out at 13 ft, carved foam with the head partly hollowed out to reduce weight, on a backpack. Still a work in progress! Thanks to the Atlanta Journal Constitution for the chance to see this moment.
