ok, so i basically want to ACTUALLY make the visual novel, anyone wanna help :3??

im planning to make the visual novel on pinto (a free play store app for making VNs), sadly it isn't available on app store or IOS and you need the app to play it.

i can do the sprites, publish it and writing the dialogues, etc...

im looking for someone help me with the backrounds!! and maybe some of the story telling? (i want it to be angst and fluff and all age appropiate) this is my artstyle too!!

halo!! im not trying to force NOBODY to do anything, but don't ya think it would be INCREDIBLE if we had a purelily visual novel/fangame? if im not wrong, shadowvanilla is known enough to have games/visual novels (soul date and i am not wrong blueberry manor), but i really wish we had a purelily fangame (ｰдｰ)

i also had two dreams, one where i played an absolutly PEAK plataformer fangame about the blueberry magic academy (with a similar style to nameless cat or celeste PEAK GAMES BTW), and another one where i got a virus for installing a weird apk of a visual novel of this

NOT trying to force anyone, but have someone thinked of this idea:<? im also PLANNING on make a plataformer similar to the thing i dreamed, and i would love to make it extremly emotional, but i don't know what story give it, any ideas?

also, im a begginer on making games and i only have my tablet, so do not expect too much!!

If you are active in the CRK fandom, you have probably heard about the episode 8 voiceline lines. I want to discuss the content held within and the fandom reaction to it, so if you have not seen the leaks yet, I advise you to take this warning to click away. This is my discussion on what has been leaked and what it means for PureLily’s future.

So, as some may know, the leaks have revealed that Pure Vanilla and White Lily are going to have a major argument in episode eight. Pure Vanilla is desperate to try and convince White Lily to come back, while she wishes to try and move on, and it becomes a source of friction in their relationship, with both of them calling the other out on the flaws their friendship has held and the inaccurate, idolized way they tended to view the other.

I have seen even dedicated PureLily fans think that this is DevSis destroying the ship, that it’s over for us.

That is not the case. This is the best thing DevSis could’ve done, if they didn’t plan to return White Lily this episode.

Arguments do not destroy a relationship by themselves. Every couple, every group of friends, every family is going to argue at one point or another. It is an inevitable part of being human and having human relationships (or being a Cookie in this instance), and arguing does NOT make PureLily toxic.

There has always been a point to PureLily that they could never fully reconcile their views of each other with their true understanding of each other. We’ve known for a while now how Pure Vanilla has struggled to be able to completely understand the depths of White Lily’s search for truth, knowledge and freedom. He fundamentally as a person did not ask the questions she did, because they found different meanings to their lives. However, episode 7 has also shown us how White Lily has failed to understand Pure Vanilla in the past. She did not understand how much he truly cared for her, and put him on too high of an altar as a ‘better’ Cookie than her, which caused her to isolate herself and eventually accidentally cause the Academy’s tragedy. This only fueled her further idolization as her self-hatred made her see herself as far lesser than Pure Vanilla and caused her to feel as though she could not open up to him fully or express her all of her true sentiments because she was afraid of the result.

This does not mean Pure Vanilla is a bad friend. This does not mean White Lily hates or doesn’t care for Pure Vanilla.

This was always going to inevitably happen. They have needed this, this discussion that’s full of tension and passion, because it is finally helping them understand each other. PureLily have always loved each other deeply, but that same love has caused them to idolize each other and built a distance between them. Both of them are deeply traumatized Cookies and war survivors, and both of them have experienced a life and a survival that has made them feel as though the full extent of their true selves are unacceptable to other people. They have just handled that differently.

Neither Pure Vanilla or White Lily are entirely in the wrong here. Pure Vanilla is right that White Lily must stop punishing herself and raking herself over the coals for her mistakes, and that it also hurts the people that love her when she does that. But White Lily is also correct that she has already made her decision, and that since she cannot come back like Pure Vanilla wants her to, it is her choice to decide what she should pursue for herself to find her happiness and self-love, and that it’s unfair to try and expect her to choose otherwise. This is a nuanced conflict between two very flawed adults that may be upsetting to hear, but it only leads to their care for each other increasing in the end.

And that’s exactly what happens! They resolve their arguments and reaffirm how much they care for each other. Another important theme of PureLily has always been that even if there has been a lack of understanding there was never a lack of love. And now that they can truly speak to each others as equals on the same level and give each other that understanding, that love has only grown.

White Lily has promised that she will come back to Pure Vanilla in the end. She wants to learn to love herself first, and Pure Vanilla certainly will be needing to do the same during Act 2. They’re going their separate ways for now to learn to become stronger people, but they will inevitably reunite, their love stronger than ever.

This is not the end of PureLily. This is not deeming them a dead or toxic ship. Pure Vanilla and White Lily both reaffirm to each other over and over in the episode how much they mean to each other! One necessary argument has not changed their feelings for each other, only made those feelings stronger and more secure as they now know they can be completely honest with each other.

The promise of return still gives hope for us to see PureLily in the endgame, and in the meantime, I doubt that DevSis will stop advertising them and producing content for them. They are beloved as characters and as a couple.

Don’t let doomerism and bad-faith arguments destroy your faith in PureLily. We are still as strong as ever, and the ship will still stay afloat for years to come!
