Hi guys are you familiar with this up and coming band? Because there's a new single out and despite paying for a duo subscription I have to go to Apple Music to listen to it

It feels like this sub is a little down in the dumps lately with a lot of complaints and generally negative vibes.

Since at the core, we're all music lovers here, I thought I'd ask for you all a simple question.

If there's an album that folks absolutely have to listened to before they die, what would it be? All genres, languages etc welcome.

For me, it's probably Slør by Eivør because it really touched me at the time and opened my listening up to Scandinavian music, or the Assassins Creed II OST by Jesper Kyd. I know it's probably not a super audiophile answer, but these albums are special to me for a couple of reasons.

Got loads of songs that are unavailable in the playlist, but I remove and add it no problem.

Why doesn’t it just self correct? Why do I have to individually remove the song and re add it to the playlist?

Nothing has scrobbled for 14 hours. 4 different devices. Disconnected and reconnected.

Listen. I’m all for music discovery, auto play seems to be getting better but for the love of all that is sacred, don’t make me listen to Drake. Or Lana Del Ray. Or Taylor Swift. I don’t like them. I don’t want to listen to them. I want to block them, they do not need my streams and I don’t want to give it to them. It should not be this difficult.

I will automatically block Chris Brown, even though he doesn’t show up for me, thankfully.

was listening to ninajirachi's new album and it stops after every song but i know the album has a seamless transition. does this happen to anyone? just wondering

Is the app just completely busted for anyone else today? Every song I play is stuck and can't transition to any other song in playlists/albums etc.

Pretty sure that every week since I joined a few months ago, Rumours is high in the top streamed albums list. It’s a good album but what’s going on?

Just realized the app was updated yesterday. How’s the playback now for people? Are the interruptions finally gone?!

Is there a known problem with the Windows app? I downloaded it today and it literally sounds like I'm listening to a scratched up CD underwater. Like it's not even "just not as great quality as I hoped", everything is slowed right down, tracks are jumping and skipping and everything sounds weirdly atonal.

I set it to CD quality in case it was my laptop unable to keep up and it made no difference. The same album is playing perfectly on the Android app on my phone right now.

Put in several complaints to their ai chat bot with not a single response from a human after requesting one? The app has never once worked as intended even with a new phone and redownloading tracks. Tracks often don’t play on from each other and when you press play it starts half way through. Disheartening because I like it when artists get paid more for their work. Anyway see ya Qobuz.

A few people have privately messaged to discuss the frequency of programs or mods to use with or in Qobuz, from individual coders not affiliated with Qobuz itself, being posted. Individuals with programs/offerings to aid in the listening, playlist and organizing experience (whether it's a paid or free program; there shouldn't be gray area or wiggle room because of trial periods or 'freemium/lite' options) have been asked to keep posts down to twice a month, to reduce the feel of the daily feed becoming an advertisement board.

For the sake of transparency, any time AI is discussed I don't read or engage at all. I'm anti AI. If you're not, I have no energy to debate its ethicality or practicality with you. You use it if you find it useful, and that's good enough for you, good enough for mods to accept if it enhances your music listening habits overall. My failing to review those threads created a gap where discussion around the posts felt too incessant or like spammed advertisements, so I want to apologize for that.

If anything else comes up where you want to talk with mods, please feel free to reach out via DM, we're happy to talk with you and try to resolve things to the best of our ability. We can't promise the moon and back, but generally speaking, we're trying to keep the feed 'pleasant feeling,' to match music-enthusiast and audiophile discussions (or gripe-focused discussions) taking place in the Spotify, Apple Music, Tidal and Deezer subreddits, as someone's first impression of a music streaming platform they may want to switch to should not be about the out of platform coded modifications they can pay for alongside the subscription.

Where can I find the "For you" section (like in the android app) on qobuz Desktop or Web?

I like to listen to new releases from Artists and Labels i follow... also when I sit at the computer

Out of the blue, qobuz app stopped recognizing that I had already configured the app to store downloads on my SD card. Initially it would just think it wasn’t configured then eventually it is allowing me to download but it won’t let me switch location to the sd card even though the purchase location is set to the sd card. I unfortunately uninstalled then reinstalled the app and that has not helped. I really don’t want to format my sd card bc I’m not sure why that would help. All other streaming apps switch download locations easily.
