need free dynamic qr code generator for updating business links without reprinting

im setting up qr codes for my small shop menus and event info but want something free that lets me edit the destination later if prices or details change. static ones seem limited since id have to make new ones every time.

i got one qr code online and it lets me change the link without reprinting plus shows scan stats which is handy for tracking. do these free qr code generators work for a long time without expiring or losing features and what limits should i watch for if using them daily?

I got tired of dead QR codes after printing, so I built this

I realized most QR codes become useless once something gets printed and the destination link changes later. Existing tools also felt outdated, with limited analytics and customization.

So I built GigaQR — https://gigaqr.com

It’s a dynamic QR platform where you can update destinations after printing, track analytics, customize designs, and manage QR campaigns from one dashboard.

I’m trying to make it feel more like an offline marketing toolkit instead of just another QR generator.

Would love honest feedback from fellow builders.

i got scammed. need help? dynamic qr code or whatever

ok so omg i will sound so dumb. i work in a language school. last week i designed pamphlets with a dynamic qr code (i downloaded it from qr code creator website- literally called qr code creator) but i did not find any info about it being a paid subscription. we printed the pamphlets, started goving them to people, suddenly shit stopped working. im already on thin ice with my boss (im actually not but im paranoid i am) me and my manager dont want her to find out. this scam bullshit only offers annual plans, cheapest beine 163 euro. i am not paying this money out of my pocket and i know damn well my boss wont pay it lol which is understandable.
is there any help..? or is our only way to fix this buying stickers with another code? we would love not to spend any money..
worst thing is i found out there was way easier quicker and free way to do it. but i dont lnow much bout technilogy and got myself and my employer scammed. help me, qr people, ill do anything in return (as long as its legal)

Case-sensitive URLs and QR codes

I've got a couple of QR codes that are returning 404 errors. The URLs are case sensitive. The QR link preview shows the url is in its case-specific format. But when I click on the link it returns a 404 error because the url has been converted to all lower-case after I click. I suspect this is a browser issue, rather than a QR issue. But has anyone else experienced this, and does anyone have a work-around? I'm opening the link in FF mobile.

Strange QR code in public

So I took a picture of a QR code near a Krogers and when I went to it,it opened up telegram but I’m a bit too afraid to look into it further given the QR code says “In high supply “Exotics”” which to me seems like some kinda porn or sex trafficking or drugs so I figured I’d post it here for people that have a better handle on cyber security.

Is there a way to manage multiple QR codes for different social contexts without fumbling through apps?

I'm looking for a more efficient way to share contact info. I have different QR codes for LinkedIn (work), Instagram (private), and maybe a link to my portfolio.

Right now, I have to open each app one by one or keep 3 different screenshots in my photo gallery, which is super awkward when meeting people.

Does anyone know if there's a tool that lets you easily switch or swipe between these different codes on one screen? Or is everyone just using those messy Linktree pages?

QR codes somehow survived being a trend and became genuinely useful

I remember when QR codes first became popular years ago and a lot of people thought they were gimmicky. But now they’re everywhere menus, payments, tickets, event registrations, product packaging, and apparently customer reviews too.

Recently I noticed more local businesses placing review QR cards near entrances or payment counters. Instead of asking customers to search for them later online, they just scan once and leave feedback immediately.

What’s interesting is that some combine both QR and NFC together so customers can either scan or tap depending on what they prefer.

Feels like a very simple idea, but I can also understand why businesses care about it since online reviews influence customer decisions so heavily now.

My package had this weird sticker on it, with a QR code that doesn't seem to link to anything for me... Can anyone investigate? 🤔
