this uses a cud to detect interactions with the shelves, it works when there's 2 of them because they're connected like a doubles chest can be read from one end with a comparator if that makes sense, but they have to be connected. not individual shelves

Could it be improved even further?

I started working on this a bit after the original brockavator design came out, and while I have looked up and seen some similar advancements, I came up with them in parallel and managed to get each layer fully into the 14 block per layer of the modified piston layout. If anyone is curious about it, I will respond in the comments.
