I don't even know exactly what bothers me, it just looks... weird. Like, the problem is not the guns, since this game had guns ever since 1.0 with that pyro fatui guy. We also have a lot of characters who uses guns (Chevreuse, Clorinde, Navia) and they look normal in game. I think I just don't like the aesthetic at all. This type of gameplay just looks weird in the base game, and the UI feels like it came from a completely different game. Feels like a cheap copy.
If this gamemode came in a event, for exemple, I would be okay with it. But the fact that it's going to be not only a permanent feature, but probably Snezhnaya's unique mechanic (like swiming in Fontaine), I just can't take it seriously. Again, I'm all for inovation, but this just looks completely out of place and feels forced, sorry.
Also, I'm already seeing the hoyoshills on the leak sub getting pissed at people criticizing this LMAO
