Does this count as a win or was I just dumb

Does this count as a win or was I just dumb

I’m almost there but 75% of the time I was losing money. I started out with some dude at work talking about how he made thousands in just a couple clicks of a button, and I envied that. I wanted what he was doing. He is a professional options trader and I tried to follow him. At first it started off with a lot of crypto and trying to learn options I wanna say I lost maybe 1000$ to not knowing a lot. The rest of the downtrend was me constantly buying crypto and the value non stop dropping. I still hold my crypto I’ve just recovered my unrealized loss so I sadly have broke even how good is this for saving this money since October 2024

Edit- a lot of people think my losses are from gambling on options but it’s actually unrealized loss on crypto still being held

New to Robinhood and Investing

Please don’t roast, I’m simply looking for genuine advice. I come from a very low income family and I’m just now learning about stocks and investments. I have $300 and I’m starting from absolute scratch.

Obviously I want to hold onto stocks long term because that will yield more dividends, but staring with such a low amount as $300 I know I’ll have to make some trades short term as well. Anyways, I’m still doing my research and trying to read and learn more. But I was wondering if there’s any stocks y’all recommend at the time being that have good potential. All advice is appreciated 🙏

Can someone recommend what I should do with my portfolio

Looking at this it just seems like a mess to me and was thinking about just only having ETFs and maybe one or 2 companies.

What a great day 🍀

I found a solid strategy which is finding demand zones and buying the dip at the zone. I’ll post a few pics from this week in the comments so you can see what I mean. But wow what a great day.

Race to 10k ✅. 🔜 20k

Been grinding daily. Improved my overall life style routine during this time as well, eating healthier, working out, waking up at 6am. Life is starting to feel great.

Robinhood Not letting me withdraw prediction settlements

I sold my prediction market contract before the event ended. The trade has already settled, and I was told the proceeds would become cash at midnight. They’re still showing only as event contracts buying power. The settlement is complete and why the funds aren’t withdrawable? Is this normal ? It’s been 1 business day, do i give it some more time ?

I really want to believe I’m doing something but in reality I think I’m just getting lucky

Over the past few months we were doing goodish? Maybe? Than over the past week I went from being down 800$ to now being down only 200$ all time average. Originally my daily total was ending the day at at-Least 40$+. To the last 3 days being 200+ than 300 now almost 500$. back to back. I want to believe I’m playing my cards right, but at the same time I KNOW I have no idea what I’m doing. I just do a few google searches before i buy$ and try to imagine Ik what people are into, than again I’m into cool shiny rocks and 🐢 so what do I really know? Feel free to roast the ever living hell out of my holdings or ask me why I believe in them.

My day trading slots are 2 15min breaks at work monday to Thursday and my 30min lunch. I try to time my first break to watch the market open and to get a feel of how things are moving I refuse to ever make a purchase until 15min have passed of the market opens. Fridays are my watch the screen all day and try and predict what next week will bring along with how after hours will do. Saturdays are my research new stock days I might just be stressing myself out Or I’m a pure idiot 🤷‍♂️ who knows……….
