I'm 45 years old now and eventually lost my job. So I devoted myself full-time to stock market investment. Every day, I spend a lot of time researching strategies, stock information, news, and other methods that are helpful for my investment portfolio.

Today, the Nasdaq index reached a new high, and stocks related to chips also saw a significant increase. It feels like the era of artificial intelligence is approaching.

Whether I can find a job or not, I still want to buy some stocks to carry out some hedging operations.

Have you all recently formed any opinions on the fields of chips and artificial intelligence?

What’s your strategy to enter early?

I currently use apps like AltIndex to track momentum/sentiment but curious everyone if anyone has found other strategies.

Hey guys long journey but at the end it’s been worth it, graduated high school no sense of what I wanted to do I didnt even apply for colleges, worked landscaping for about the summer of 25 and saved around 3,000 made 2k on bynd and invested it all into amd and Sofi, march pullback happened my portfolio fell to 2.5k felt hopeless no job and seemed like i was screwed, mid April I got blessed with a good job opportunity took it and now invested about 800-1200 a week, im blessed to have parents who let me live rent free and hopeful to see you guys succeed too, moving onto 50,000 hope to see you guys there!

Gotta keep trucking along. Onto the next goal! I’ve made several mistakes along the way that have cost me from time to time. Delayed hitting the $10k target here lol.

Although it’s my “play” money, trying to be more disciplined in my approach. Biotech and AI is the make up of this account.

SLS, NBIS, ANET are my main holdings. SLS being the biggest and could fail still but I’m currently up 83% on them or ($2900)

Day 2 of my 1k challenge.

Last time I ran 1k to nearly 20k. Doing it again now and sharing all positions and losses.

Let’s see how far the bull takes us on this ride

Every time I go up a good amount I immediately throw away all that progress for absolute no reason, but now I’m one million percent evolved and decided to make/stick to a strategy. I’ll see you all at 10k (the big jumps started when I put actual money in my account start of April so I don’t mind if it takes a while)

Spy put me over this morning. On towards 50k.

Paper trading today resulted in a crazy 5.54% return. Win rates 7/9 trades today and 7/8 days. Currently using an API linked to Alpaca. Once I'm confident in the results and the allocation is optimized, it will be time to turn on the "money printer". XD

Any advice on what I can put more money into as I hope to grow it to 7500 before the year ends

I’m new at all of this stuff I have a few friends that had me buy a few different stocks I just want to grow my account.

Got this massive move with 1k capital with a challenge account and reached 13k in total with just one perfect trade with good execution.
Of course it’s not easy to spot entries like this for new traders, it takes time and that’s what 8 years of trading does.

After quite the ride down, I took a break from trading. But im back at it again.

Starting on 05/18 with everyone’s favorite thing “options”, and a starting balance of $48.57 I will be posting some updates in the coming weeks.

Sharing this for joint inspiration and chat, I hope these are meaningful contributions to this community. As requested last week, I’ve also included a screenshot of some high scoring trades from a screening service I’m enjoying at the moment. $14k income this week with 2 days left to navigate, hoping for more green today!? Looks like a decent pre-market. My returns are not quite as good as last week but getting there and I’m really pleased that this trend is sustaining YTD so far. Again I appreciate some of these trades remain open and the market can shift against us all. How is everyone else doing this week? Happy trading!
