Flow detected when no zones are running

I just recently added a flow meter to my system. I've noticed a weird issue where I'm getting a "flow detected when no zones are running" error message. I increased the Settle Time to 5m, but oddly, after the zone shuts off, 5 minutes later I'm getting the message. The zone shuts off almost immediately after completion. Honestly, I'm cofused at this point. I attached a screenshot of the events. Anyone seen this before?

Quick Run caused skip of remaining time

I ran a zone for 1 minute to check the sprinklers. That night the scheduled run didn't happen for that zone. I expected that the remaining time would be finished on the normal scheduled run. Has anyone else see this?

Rachio 12 Zone Controller Dark

I’m having intermittent problems with my Rachio 3 12 zone controller that goes offline and when I look at the controller, its display is dark with no lights. I unplug and replug the power supply and the controller recovers and sequences to all blue lights. The controller then works for an indeterminate amount of time (sometimes days, sometimes weeks).

What I’ve done to repair:

  1. Replaced the power supply with a new one. Dark failures.
  2. Contacted Rachio support. They saw the multiple offline events, and suggested I get a new controller. They thought it was faulty hardware.
  3. Replaced the controller and power supply with a new 12 zone unit from Costco. Dark failures.
  4. Suspected faulty AC outlet. Replaced outlet. Dark failures.
  5. Suspected low voltage failure since Rachio AC transformer converts 120VAC to 24VAC. Added an Eaton Tripp Lite AVR550U 550VA UPS 300W Battery Backup Surge Protector AVR. Dark failure after 2 weeks.

I’m at a loss. I suspect Rachio firmware is causing the Dark failures. Any ideas?

A zone I edited to 0 hr 0min 0sec on the upcoming run, sprayed for 5 hours

Earlier in the day I noticed a sprinkler body detached from the line, but my neighbors's tree roots made it tough to expand the hole to replace the connection; it got too hot so I paused working for the next day.

Before going to bed I remembered the upcoming scheduled so I wanted to pause that zone while the rest proceed. There isn't an option to exclude a zone so I edited the zone to 0hr 0min 0sec and went to bed, woke up 5 hours later and looked out to see a flood on the side of the back yard and saw on the app that it was still running and it was going to go for 8 hours.

My water bill is going to be massive...
