The fun’s all done :( but how was your RAGBRAI? Favorite city? Favorite food?

A lot of my cycling clothes I wore are trashed. Anyone have any tips to get out the Ragbrai stains?

My kids are wanting to set up a lemonade stand since your route out of town tomorrow goes past our house.

Im not sure how well it would do though, as you will all be just leaving town and getting started.

Im wondering if they should do energy drinks and coldbrew coffee?

Or should I tell them everyone will just be leaving, no one will stop, to not waste their time?

Hi ragbrai! anyone seen / picked up a tin mug left outside the portas in Guthrie Center main campground? It has a Jai Thep 2018 + ocean sticker on it. Very precious to me, been holding my camping coffee for years. Hoping for a bike fairy to bring it back to me!

Has anybody else noticed the amount of AI generated advertising. I would say 50% of vendors used some AI art. Is that a Midwest thing? I cannot imagine that going over well in the Pacific Northwest.

Love a good pork chop but 7 days without leafy greens? A chopped salad vendor would rock!

So I was just informed yesterday after the ride that our group plans to leave first thing Friday morning and I was the only one that didn’t know. No mention of this in the months of planning leading up to this week. So needless to say I’m pretty disappointed, I packed for seven days and was planning to dip my tire.

I flew in from NYC for my first ragbrai and the airport lost my bike. Is there any chance one of you has a 52-54cm bike that I could use while they ship my bike to Des Moines?

I bought a bike and started training since December for this event so I could ride with my brother and his friends.

The airport has been messing up and shipping my bike to different airports so I have been helping the support van in the meantime. The event has been great so far but I’ve been dying to hit the road.

A day or two would make my week. I would really love to do Independence.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Edit: Thank you all very much for all the messages! Can’t believe the support! I ended up renting a bike from pork belly charter and they had a bike that fit me. Happy to say that I completed the ride to Independence!

Lots of large portions and really great homemade pie included. Right across from the community college and the general campground. Nice to find a decent meal at night that wasn’t overpriced for what we got and goes to a good cause (repairing their roof).

Lost an older iPhone outside the Danish museum yesterday. Didn't have any kind of network access yesterday to check anything. If anyone has any advice on a lost and found I could check, I'd really appreciate it. Apparently the "find my" wasn't enabled.

Three riders and three bikes ( two recumbent) need to get from Ames back to Dubuque.

The hard part seems to be 3 seats and room for bigger than average bike.
