Let's just call it theft already.

Registration money paid, services not rendered, zero communication/resolution. Your organization has robbed its community and ran for the hills.

("It's Fitlab, not Ragnar" -- great, feel free to clarify and clear your name.)

It's disgusting that you would frame this robbery as a Ragnar-style "challenge we'll overcome as a team." How dare you exploit the spirit of this community as part of your scheme.

Who has gotten a refund?

I put a dispute in with Citi, and they declined to give me the money back. Unfortunately there is something up where the letter explaining why isn't available.

Any chance of getting my money back?

Any RTB Intel?

Are there any updates on whether Ragnar RTB is going to happen this year?

From what I can piece together, there are some pretty significant hurdles:

  • Carroll is not allowing the race this year, which affects multiple legs and a Major Exchange 6, Bretton Woods.
  • NH State Parks has said they are not hosting RTB, which affects the finish line (Hampton) and Major Exchange 24 (Bear Brook), which is tent city.
  • The Ragnar RTB website has removed references to Hampton, and the Runner Packet has also been updated with some of these locations removed, but no actual updates in the update section.

It’s pretty clear the RD is working to reroute/save the race, but at what point will they call it? Or at least give us a status update?

Past Ragnar Employee - Road Race Director 2022-2024

I am a past Ragnar Road Race Director and I am happy to speak out about what is happening with Ragnar. Everyone is welcome to take what they want from the experience and spend their money how they wish.

If you have specific questions Im happy to provide you with the truth.

Ragnar

Ragnar has pulled my posts from their public Ragnar‘s captain group on Facebook and blocked me from the page. I thought about weather I should post the text I posted there in this forum as well, but I was trying to streamline on what was becoming the best source of truth, and assumed it would be led to Reddit naturally. But they would probably have silenced those as well.

It took less than an hour for someone to read my post, and have the company pull it, and then subsequently block me from any further comment.

They have chosen to forcibly silence me instead of letting me speak in an open public forum. If I’m lying, wouldn’t that be really easy to prove?

But instead, the squished my voice like the big bad looney bug they are.

NH State Parks denies permit for Reach the Beach

This is the first "official" news I've seen despite all of the talk that has been happening here in the last couple weeks. The fact that Ragnar hasn't made an official statement is inexcusable. Meanwhile, the clock ticks for people wanting refunds and facing cancellation deadlines...

Relay Guide Website

Just a follow up to this post.

With the feedback provided, I was able to cobble together RelayGuide.net.  It's mostly the same info as the list of non-Ragnar relays, but this way it is more searchable.

Is it a well designed website?  Absolutely not.  But I hope this will help some of us to continue relaying with or without Ragnar.

Any update on Bourbon Chase being canceled?

Has anyone heard anything regarding Bourbon Chase being canceled? Any Ragnar employees have any inside info?

Making the most of the cancelled Appalachian’s Trail Run.

Making a banner for our campsite - our team is making the most of a bad situation by having our own version of a trail relay. Here’s to all the OG’s nursing broken hearts and looking towards the future.
